... and the Lions don't get a bye until Week 7.
You'd think they'd give Detroit a fighting chance.
Week 1 - @New Orleans
Week 2 - Minnesota
Week 3 - Washington
Week 4 - @Da Bears
Week 5 - Pittsburgh Gl'enns
Week 6 - @Cheeseheads
Week 7 - Bye bye
Week 8 - St. Blew Us
Week 9 - @Seattle
Week 10 - @Minnesota
Week 11 - Cleveland Steamers
Week 12 - Cheeseheads
Week 13 - Bye... I means, @the Bengals.
Week 14 - @Baltimore
Week 15 - Arizona
Week 16 - @San Francisco
Week 17 - Da Bears
I like our chances

Why would you want it any earlier than that? Not quite half-way through the season, gives them a break right in the middle to recharge.

I'd have preferred week 4 or 5, to allow an off week to re-evaluate and adjust. I'm sure there's going to be a lot of tweaking this season.
I would have liked the bye right before the Gl'enns.

I dont see much if any easy-ness there. That's ok, I wasn planning a Detroit Lions Super Bowl party anyway.

Go back to 2007, they've actually lost their last 17, and 23 of 24.

How did we get both Super Bowl teams at home?

Gl'enn pushed some political weight to get his mancrush POLAMALU to the D.
2 to 1 he's already got his tix.

SD got the cupcake schedule of the playoff teams. Only one game is a 10:00 pacific start for them.
Everyone is complaining about Thanksgiving (with Detroit of course and Dallas getting the Raiders).

AZ got a easy schedge too. By the numbers the Bear, Minni and Pack were in the top 5 easiest schedges if I saw it correctly. Playing us 2 times a year might have something to do with that though.

You can't really judge easiest schedule before the season starts. You never know how teams are going to be with how up and down the league is. Someone could take a huge step up, like Miami did last year, when everyone looks at them as one of the teams making their schedule easier.
