What are some of the good/bad things to come out of this season?

Good
-Flexibility/cap space this summer
-Discovering Will Bynum
-Getting Dice back after the trade
-Making the playoffs

Bad
-Losing Chauncey
-Horrible coaching
-The lack of improvement from our young players
-Losing Dice for a month, Samb experiment failed
-Acker didn’t pan out
-Making the playoffs

Bad
-No signs of life yet from Walter Sharpe

Good
-Flexibility/cap space this summer
-Losing Chauncey and his salary
-Sheed may finally go the #@$% away

Bad
-Hiring of Curry
-Max shows no sign of improvement
-Not firing Curry
-Stuckey looking less and less like a PG
-Not killing Curry
-Acker sucked
-Not burning Curry's house down
-Mr Davidson passing
-Not erasing the name "Curry" from all Pistons history
-Horrible 2008 draft
-Not decreeing that everyone with the last name of Curry should die!
-No improvement for Amir

Yeah, Amir, Max, and Stuck were supposed to turn into pieces and left us with 2 question marks and a tird. AA didn't blow up, he is what we thought he was. Bynum deserves to be in a rotation.

Thinking it couldn't get any worse than Flip Saunders and being wrong.

I think that AA actually played pretty well. He could start for quite a few teams and would put up bigger numbers if he was asked to.

You know, I agree with you mick. Afflalo has been pretty good for what was expected out of him.

I say we thank him. Truthfully we get to see at a minimum 4 more Pistons games. Our youngsters get more playoff experience and we keep our playoff streak alive. Compare this to the lottery (in which we would likely not move up) and it ends up being the playoffs for a couple of draft spots. I'll take that every time just to be able to say that we are a playoff team.

Good:

"I'm back" - yes,me coming back was a good fucking thing
Getting Dice back from Denver
Finding Bynum
Tons of playing time for Stuckey
Cap flexibility - our run was over
Afflalo's playing time
Richard Hamilton's name on the roster - we're fucked without him
Kwame Brown being a lot better than I thought and contributing something
Playoffs - despite posted comments I am hyped for the playoffs (if Maxiell wants to redeem himself he can do so by smashing the living shit out of Lebron in game 1)

Bad:

Mike Curry as Head Coach? WTF.
Tayshaun Prince still having no balls
Rasheed Wallace still doing whatever the fuck he wants
Jason Maxiell's lack of development/playing time
Amir Johnson's lack of development/footspeed
Allen Iverson disgracing the Pistons jersey - by refusing to play
