If Cherry is the Dem candidate, then I think that helps the Republican's chances. I like Peter Hoekstra. Uncle Mxy 04-16-2009, 06:52 PM Hoekstra would be the way for the Republicans to lose. I saw him on Off The Record. Skubick punked him and he wasn't really trying. He was very much in the "Vote me in, I'll tell you what I'll cut later" mode that didn't work for DeVos. He's a better speaker than DeVos, but doesn't have much to say. I'm not sure she'd survive a Republican primary, but I'd worry about Land if she made it out. I'm surprised Mike Rogers didn't throw his hat in. He'd clean up. Of course, he may be smart enough to not want the job... Glenn 04-16-2009, 07:01 PM But he loves to Twitter! Wilfredo Ledezma 04-16-2009, 10:46 PM Mxy, what do you think about Mike Cox? He won his re-election, so he's got more name familiarity within the state as opposed to both Land & Hoekstra. I'm not the right person to ask about your cocks. Seek a hot babe who likes double penetration, and a medical professional. Seriously, Mike Cox is a testy asshole. That can win law enforcement jobs against relatively weak opposition, but that rarely plays well for Governor, on TV, etc. I don't see him reinventing himself as the "caring sharing nice guy" that women would actually vote for. (Engler isn't a 3-term governor without well-timed triplets and Blanchard's vindictive ex-wife.) Like Hoekstra, Cox is big on "tax cut", less big on explaining what programs he'll cut to pay for it all. He won his re-election, so he's got more name familiarity within the state as opposed to both Land & Hoekstra. Land won her re-election, too. She's sharp on articulating details, has deep pockets of her own, and deep ties to the party and the west side folks who spend "big money" on elections regardless of the economy. Glenn 04-18-2009, 09:33 AM And she's a slum lord! |
