View Full Version : Who are the 18 drafted between 1 and 20?
Tahoe 03-20-2009, 02:40 PM Who are the 18 players gone between 1 and 20 assuming we take Stafford? It changes if we take Curry, but starint with us taking Stafford.
(2) Sanchez, Freeman
(3) J Smith, Monroe, A Smith
(3) Crabtree, Maclin, Percy Harvin.
(3) Curry, Orakpo, 1 other not sure who. (Cushing, Rey, Maybin)
(2) Moreno, Wells? I'm saying 2 RBs will go before 20
(3) Ayers, T Jackson, E Brown
(2) Raji, Peria
There's 18.
Some bubble peeps are...
Oher, but if you insert Oher in, who do you pull out?
V Davis will prolly go. He should be put in, but who gets pulled?
Malcom Jenkins...slow combine..he slipped but don't know how far.
WRs Pettigrew, Nicks, DHB?? Insert them, but who goes?
LBs 2 left of Cushing, Rey, Mabin, Lauranitus, Mathews. I see Lauranitus not going, but thought I'd throw him in there.
We'll have some good players to choose from at 20 and 33.
Hack away! I know I screwed up with a couple, 3.
WTFchris 03-20-2009, 02:43 PM Pettigrew will for sure. I also think two more LBs go in there (Cushing/Rey/Maybin).
Tahoe 03-20-2009, 02:44 PM Is Pett going for sure? I can believe that. Which LBs and who do you pull from the list?

YEAH, IF YOU PUT 2 IN, YOU HAVE TO TAKE 2 OUT
WTFchris 03-20-2009, 02:49 PM Probably all 3 of those. I don't think Jerry goes in the top 20 unless we take him.
Maybe a RB slides, maybe both. What teams would spend a first rounder on a RB? Philly? Zona? Houston?
Philly and Houston need complementary backs so they may not use a first rounder on one. Zona would definitely take either Wells or Moreno if they were there.
Tahoe 03-20-2009, 02:49 PM What if we put 3 in? Take 5 out?
WTFchris 03-20-2009, 02:51 PM I'm putting the TE and 3 LBs in. Take the 2 RB's and the DT out (unless we take him).

YOU WANT TO TAKE PERIA OUT?
Do you wanna fight?
WTFchris 03-20-2009, 02:56 PM The Lions will take him there unless Freeman (assuming they took Smith or Curry), Rey (if they take Stafford or Smith) or Monroe (if they take Stafford or Curry) slips. Then they have a choice to make.

Do you mean Oher? Because Monroe is gone in the top 5 or 6.
WTFchris 03-20-2009, 03:39 PM yeah, that's what I meant.
Jethro34 03-20-2009, 04:01 PM Probably all 3 of those. I don't think Jerry goes in the top 20 unless we take him.

The bottom 10 teams in terms of rushing last year were:
Arizona
Indianapolis
Detroit
Cincinnati
New Orleans
San Francisco
Cleveland
St Louis
Chicago
Pittsburgh
Of those 10 teams, many have a good/very good #1 guy. Some suffered last year because of injury.
I think Pittsburgh is fine, Chicago is set with Forte, the Rams have SJax, and the Colts have Addai. Cincy - set on C Benson? NO cut McAllister and Bush is a bust. He's a slot reciever, not a RB. Arizona could use someone but they're going to throw 85 times per game. The Lions are going to build the line, not the RB. SF has Gore and change, but could potentially use a change-of-pace (not someone talked about in the 2st round).
Cleveland should take someone, but won't at #5.
Buffalo should pick someone because Lynch might be in trouble with the league. I truly think New Orleans needs one as well.
If I were mocking, I would put Moreno to Buffalo and Wells to the Saints.
DrRay11 03-20-2009, 04:40 PM You guys are doing this all wrong. There's a bunch of first round talent, but you basically need to build a team-by-team mock draft to try and guess who is in the top 20.
Pettigrew is no lock, Chris. Neither is Jerry or Ayers... Those are just three names I saw quickly.

Its just another way to look at it.
There are certain players that aren't going to slip, I don't what team needs are.
And those players I mentioned do fit with needs. I checked before I posted them. I didn't look at the needs once we started interchanging players.
