UNITED FOOTBALL LEAGUE: Former NFL coaches Dennis Green, Jim Fassel and Jim Haslett will lead teams in the new UFL. It plans to debut in October with teams in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Orlando and New York.
Has anyone heard anything about this? This is the first I've heard of it.

Does Vince McMahon own the league?

I knew about Fassell, but the Denny Green and Haslett thing is news to me.
The season starting in October sounds like a deathwish.

A Detroit team would be phenomenal, especially if they were good.
All of the jaded Lions fans would be able to jump on board.
They could play at Tiger Stadium or the Silverdome.

There are so many football fans clamoring for a home team to root for. In its "Premiere" year, the UFL will have four teams playing in at least seven cities. These cities include Las Vegas/Los Angeles, New York/Hartford, Orlando and San Francisco/Sacramento.
So cities are sharing teams?
Tahoe, will you support YOUR San Francisco/Sacramento TimberKittens?

Might as well share the name. More Sacramentans go to Oakland As games than peeps in Oakland.
I will prolly view them a total of 0 times.
