RotoWorld...
Panthers CB Ken Lucas has nixed a trade to the Lions, making it likely that he will soon be cut.
Lucas reportedly "let it be known that he did not and would not play in Detroit." It's hard to blame him, but Lucas risks playing for less than the $5.6 million he's owned on his current contract once he's released.
Lucas lost his starting job mid-way through last year, but he's still a pretty good player.
Can't fault Mayhew for trying. Can't fault Lucas for nixing, either.
RotoWorld also suggests that the Lions are desperately searching for corners. And they think that Lito Sheppard could be a possible target.
