Are starting to get a lil chippy.

And how can someone who articulated BOs message so well during the campaign be so weak in his pressers.

Heres most of what he said today..

ah ah ah, I shouldn't ah ah ah, I won't ah ah ah, Today we'll ah ah ah ah and ah ah, and so ah.

That presser was probably more articulate than how I am offline.

^ Yea right.

Me on the other hand, can barely put a sentence together, but public speaking aint what I do.

I like Gibbs, he cracks me up.

I haven't seen or analyzed any of his pressers though.

Maybe I'll watch the full breakdown on Fox News tonight.

No, seriously. I'm one of those "more articulate in writing" types.

I liked him during the campaign...or at least I thought he did a good job, but he needs to step it up...subtract about 3,762 ahs and he'll be fine.

Robert Gibbs got pwned by somebody yesterday, it was a question in regards to Daschle.

W. was 2-0-0 in elections.

W. was 2-0-0 in elections.

That's debatable.

The Electorate would never screw over a Democrat if he really did win.

W's 2000 win was legit, IMO.

Wilfredo Ledezma

W. was just a product of facing two inferior candidates.

There is no 'opinion' about it. It was legit.

There was definitely an "opinion" about the 2000 election. Bush v. Gore was a Supreme Court opinion.

Since SCOTUS explicitly did not establish Bush v. Gore as being precedent for anything, it really is an "opinion" in a casual sense.

Ultimately, there was THE opinion about it. :)

LOL. I know you can do that kind of editing over time, but that was from 1 presser.

Heres a lil more pointed exchange

John McCain took heat for saying the fundamentals of our economy are strong...explaining that he was talking about the worker etc.

Gibbs, in an oh shit moment imo, when quetioned about the administrations talking point last week about the economy being strong...said..."The fundamentals are SOUND. There's a difference.

LMAO

I'm not sure what you're saying? There is a big difference, no?

Tahoe
03-16-2009, 06:38 PM
Between Sound and Strong? Not for me.

Hermy
03-16-2009, 06:42 PM
Really? On a scale of 1-10 sound is 4, strong is 8-9, yes?

Tahoe
03-16-2009, 06:51 PM
Y'all crack me up...and I thank for that.

BO, his team, y'all made such a fuckin deal out of JM saying that, but its crickets now. Thats a huge difference. Much larger than the difference between sound and strong.

Uncle Mxy

I believe there's a distinction between "sound" and "strong". It's a compromise, trying to come across as guardedly hopeful, but not foolish. That said, I don't think that many of our economic fundamentals are either "sound" or "strong".

Glenn

You couldn't really expect for it to be treated equally when one was said by a presidential candidate in the heat of a historic race and the other was uttered by a mouthpiece in a ordinary press conference.

Glenn

We can handle it via PM maybe.

We just need an uninvolved 3rd party.

As CKrauthammer suggested, Gibbs should be put under house arrest til this Egypt deal is over. He has NO idea what to say. Its a tough spot to be in, no doubt, but give the man some cards to read from and tell him to pick one and read it every time there is a question on Egypt.
