Its captivating like everyone has said, cept those of you who have watched it a total of 0 times.

The wife and I thought it was a lil bit freaky at times, but overall it was excellent. You shake your head saying why did the FBI agent leave blah blah blah and then you find out 3 episodes later why.

I have a real hard time remembering which season things took place in. I remember the events but not really the specific season.

And yes, it really hooks you because it seems like nothing is resolved in the 1 hour episode even though a lot happened.

Thats what a friend back east keeps telling me. She can remember some stuff but can't put it all together perfectly.

Also, I'm watching this season real time, and to see Tony Almada (Almaida ???) in season 1 was weird. I didnt notice it was him till about the 3rd episode. Same actor.

Kim is a giant idiot, too. It gets funny in season 2 to see the kind of trouble she gets in. You just want to slap her at times.

Finished Season 2 last night. S2 was as good as 1, imo and the wife liked S2 better than 1.

S3...not so good so far.

Yeah you'll get tired of S3 pretty quickly. S4 throws some good twists at you, though.

Jack killing Nina was cool, Jack sacrificing his boss to the terrorists, shooting him in the head, was crazy, Jack chopping off the hand of his daughters sig other was a crack up, Jack ordering the terrorists daughter in the contaminiated area was epic

We got so caught up in S5 that we didn't turn it off to watch S7. We're getting spoiled with CDs. No commercials and you can watch 3, 4, 5 episodes at a time.

I really think this show went down downhill in Season 5, maybe even season 4. This season has renewed my faith in 24. I waited a few episodes to proclaim that because season 6 had 4 kiss ass episodes followed by 20 hours of piss. I hope day 7 can continue being this enjoyable.

No that's pretty fuckin' sweet, actually. I remember watching a couple episodes in the middle of season 1 and getting hooked. I stopped and waited for the dvd and watched it in 20 hours, great times.

I'm enjoying the parade of cameos for bit players from past seasons. Has the feel of a final season victory lap. Not that I've seen any announcement to that effect but really, they shouldn't do another.

I was annoyed by last episode:

You knew that guy was going to be the insider from the beginning. The writers screwed up on that one - especially since they had him saving his wife when he made her airplane land first. If he was in on it, he wouldn't have had his wife up in the air. And trying to trick us with making it look like the woman analyst was going to be the traitor - she's been all about following the rules until Chloe comes in and all the sudden she breaks all the rules because she feared for her job? You know she's going to get blamed for everything. And how come she wasnt' surprised to hear that Renee was alive?

Weak episode.

We've almost stopped speculating on who the mole is in the FBI type things. Cuz they always throw you a curve. Still interesting how it plays out though.

Re: Jack He's a lil extra Jack this year, imo. Killing someone is nothing. It doesn't bother him a bit. He just moves on. It didn't seem that way early on.

well, there has to be at least one person in the president's cabinet that is involved too. it will take a while for everyone to be exposed I think.

There has to be a secret service officer that is above that agent that murdered the president's son and wife.

I think it was in Redemption, where Voight told the Secret Service agent that Jack killed last week(who worked with the first dudes SSA), to end the Prez son.

IMO, that was one of the WORST freakin endings to a season I've seen in a long long time.

Jack is unconcious, it was all about the Prez who I didn't really like and an FBI agent that I didn't reall like.

I thought it was weak, Weak, WEAK!

Still a good season so far.

Started out that way for me but week after week of cut-and-paste from previous seasons has tired me out. I'm ready to see Jack Bauer fed to the shark... right after I pay to see the 24 feature film and hate myself for it afterwards.

I think the season has been pretty good overall though. I'd like to see more of Kim though (eye candy).

They should always make new seasons. Although I don't find it as good as the first few, it's way better than the alternative (reality TV bullshit). I mean what good shows are there out right now? I watch 24, The Office and that is about it for non-sports network TV.

Actually most of the regular shows I like are on USA.

Shows run their course. Characters do to. Some can run longer than others but I think there is a creative wall thats hit.

I'm not saying that is the rule in general (to always make more). I'm just saying a slightly stale 24 is far better than some fat guy trying to dance ping pong balls out of a box strapped to his waste.

If you have a better show, by all means, but like I said that show is still better than %95 of the other ones out there.
