You want to argue whether Israel's use of overwhelming force on Hamas in Gaza is the right call, you have a good debate there and one that Israel itself should always keep in mind (I think Thomas Friedman of the New York Times discusses it better than anyone). You want to say that Israel will one day have to find a political/diplomatic solution to the Hamas and Hezbollah problem even though these groups are not actually formal governments (well, Hamas in Gaza, I guess), there are a lot of good points behind that.

Hell, you want to even come to the table with whether Israel as a Jewish state as it is today is viable in the future and that at some point they will have to question the "how" they are a Jewish state to survive in the Middle East and you have a difficult yet important topic to discuss.

But to simply come with the "fuck Israel" "fuck Zionist" blather only shows how stupid you are. Fuck YOU Bard; try looking in depth at important issues before shouting moronic blank statements.

Fair enough for calling me out Zip, but yes, I do think there's a lot more than that. I think it's a complex issue and, to be honest, the "Israel Bad" only argument can get on my nerves. FWIW I do think Israel does quite a few things wrong but there's so much more to it than that.

Besides arguing with you guys about a very obvious injustice occurring in the middle east I encourage you guys to read this article by a prominent American Jew, John Mearshiemer, that highlights the underlying reasons for the recent murders in Gaza and the ultimate goal Israel unapologetically has in mind:

Why is everyone getting upset?
This is a calculated extermination of the Palestinian people. I mean gosh, Israel has been starving them out and cutting off water fuel and power for months. Hell, Israel is doing those civilians a favor. It's all a mercy killing really. They would just starve in their ghettos. If Israel didn't have the constant threat of a hyped up enemy they would lose American aid and its leadership wouldn't be able to put through an authoritarian state.
