What are your TV shows that you hate missing/always DVR? I'm not talking about shows that you'll watch "if they're on," but shows that you enjoy enough to pay attention to the whole series.

I enjoy:

House
Lost
Chuck
24 (though I've ditched it in the past with some of the seasons sucking)

House is Sunday night?

Tyler Perry's House of Payne anyone?

Even the commercials look horrible.

Well in that case let me catch you up to speed:

Jack Bauer is more badass than Chuck Norris. That's all you need to know.

You should catch up on the seasons. They're addicting as hell. Just make sure you have time to watch them - because if you watch one episode, chances are you'll watch 10. Make a weekend out of watching one season.

Season 1 - Amazing
Season 2 - Good
Season 3 - Good
Season 4 - Okay
Season 5 - Great
Season 6 - Pretty bad
Season 7 - Good start

Is 6 the only season that sucked, or did other seasons just start out sucky but get better when you get back to them?

I've made it to 4 and sort of ran out of steam. I want to get to 5 and 6 (and 7 of course) but I feel it's a time investment since, as Motown puts it, I end up watching 10 of those episodes in one shot.

24 :)
Finally we agree on something.

24
The Office
House

Those are the only ones I hate to miss. I enjoy many others, but just watch them when I catch them.

I would DVR Wizards of Waverly Place, but Disney never has a consistent programming schedule.

LOST

I want to start watching 24. I also rarely miss South Park and will usually watch it online the next day if I miss it.

In this age of boxed DVD sets available from Netflix or the library, of Hulu, of torrents available from damn near anywhere, I just don't worry about trying to keep up with broadcast TV anymore. The only show I think I'll be keeping up with is Battlestar Galactica, and that's because a couple co-workers will spoil it for me otherwise. (They can't help themselves.)

Season 2 and 3 started off good but definately lost a little in the second half. Season 5 was my favorite season, and season 6 was fun for the first four episodes, but was ridiculous after that.

I started watching 24 in season 4. I got netflix for a few months and watched the first 3 seasons to catch up.
