Mgoblog (usually very, very reliable) is reporting that McGuffie, Chambers, and Babb have left the Schembechler Hall. Is this the beginning of a mass exodus? A "Bigtime" insider on Scout has been saying for a monff now that he expects 15-20 players to leave the team at season's end.
Thank you, Bill Martin.

Actually, I like this kind of stuff. If they don't want to buy in, let's find out now and move on.

That's what you get for the refusal to hire a "Michigan Man."

I wonder what Les Miles is doing...

You have to be kidding. Anytime you have that many high profile players leaving a program after a new coach`s first year it is only one thing, bad.

RR is screwing the pooch in a monumental way in AA. And for those of you expecting a tremendous turn-around next season, I have some swamp land in Antartica to sell you.

* McGuffie isn't leaving the program.

* Artis Chambers has planned to transfer to UCF for some time now. He can't pass Stevie Brown or Michael Williams on the depth charts, so quite frankly, he's not an asset.

* Zion Babb? I couldn't even tell you what position he plays. Thus, I couldn't care less.

--C'mon Zip, I know you canceled your subscription at GBW, but Mgoblog isn't exactly a better source...

Don't be a stupid penis, Will. I know you are probably one of the dorkiest guys even on Scout, but McGuff is as good as gone.

McGUFFIE!!

I think McGuffie is leaving Ann Arbor AND football altogether to pursue his real dream:

Do you think McGuffie is leaving Jeth?

Jethro34

No, I don't. Considering that he's back from Texas and likely playing tomorrow, I would say all the talk about "McGuffie has left Schembeckler Hall" didn't know the whole story. He'll be staying. He may be a little pissed that he lost he starting job, but he knows he's better off sticking it out here, in this offense, than leaving. Yes, Minor will be the starter next year wiuth Brown getting decent run, but McGuffie and Shaw will get their touches and be the features their junior year. They'll have the advantage of knowing the offense inside and out and having spent years with Barwis.

I think that alot of the stuff with McGuffie might revolve around his acceptance from a lot of Lloyd's guys and any dissension or jealousy in the locker room. There's a guy on Scout, a Big Insider, who keeps saying that 15-20 guys will leave, and he thinks the offensive side of the ball will be hit hard, most notably receiver.
I see McGuffie as an out of the backfield guy who catches passes and gets misdirection plays more than I see him as a workhorse type of back. You can see a huge difference between him and Brown/Minor when it comes to being decisive, hitting the hole, and committing to getting the ball downfield. Who knows, maybe that will come with experience. As fast as he looked in all the Youtube shit, you can see that at this level, everything he has is pretty much negated, except that he can get downfield and catch passes. What am I trying to say? I don't know.

But I don't think he leaves, either, and to be honest, I wonder if Sam is a bit psycho like myself, and just needs the right dose of Pills 'n Pussy to make him happy. At my age, I'll just take the pills, cuz the pussycomes with a whole lot of headaches that I can finally say I don't need (unless she takes it up the ass, then I'll do just about anything).

These pussies just can't handle BARWIS.

Nor should they handle losing well. Leave the handling of losing well to MSU. This isn't the lions. You have a bunch of players who hate losing, but you can't get any wins out of them because the coach force feeds them this gimmick offense.

Sam McGuffie, Carson Butler, and Avery Horn were all no shows at tonight's Michigan football bust. Word from a few well-connected sources there is Sam is gone for sure. He apparently is homesick and has some major family issues to take care of at home.

Sure he was a hyped up recruit, but I think we all saw this year that Sam is not a big time D1 back. We'll be fine with Minor, Brown, and Shaw.

Wow, and I just named my newborn son Sam. That sucks. I should have gone with Martavius or Shavodrick.

True story about naming my son Sam, though.

I don't think McGuffie is that big of a loss, thankfully RB may be the position UM has the most depth...

I just hope McGuffie leaving doesn't upset Stonum.

We're starting to grow thin at WR, and if the rumors of Greg Mathews, Toney Clemons, and James Rogers leaving end up to be true, we're gonna have some problems...

Typical Michigan fan responses. You twats might as well add, "We only talk about guys who play for Michigan" and "Those who stay will be champions"

Let's see: We have Carlos brown who was injured for all but one game this past year. CHECK

We have Brandon Minor who was an injured fumbling machine for more than half the season: CHECK

We have Michael Shaw who was a no show (when not injured or fumbling most of the season) CHECK

We have Vincent Smiff, a slow, 5'6 160 lbs Padookey kid coming in: CHECK

We have Fitzgerald Toussaint who many are wondering about his grade issues: CHECK

OH BOY, that is some serious motherfucking depth right there!

Aned Jethro I am sorry to hear you have reproduced. I guess there really IS someone for everyone.

I never said it was 'good depth', but rather depth in terms of numbers.

You forgot Kevin Grady (who somehow has another year of eligibility), Teric Jones, Jeremy Gallon & Mike Cox as well...

I think McGuffie could be a stud in this offense (with the right personnel at other positions). I think he would be a huge loss. Yeah, there is good depth there, but not that type of back. Name one back on this roster besides Sam that can do the type of stuff Slaton did at WVU.

Just wait until you can see what Michael Shaw can do. He's a much more powerful runner than McGuff and is faster.
