The Domestic House Cat Bowl:
Who has a better chance to go winless this season? I thought the Lions had this in the bag, but Cinci is just as awful, and they actually look worse on the field than the Lions.
Who will have the #1 draft pick in April?

They've got that game against KC at the end of the season that could be their win, but you've got to look at the last few games of the season and think of what teams will be resting starters.

Well, after this week there are only three teams with less than two wins. So the Lions are pretty much assured a top 3 pick I think. KC is an absolute mess as well, so I could easily see the #1 pick decided on the last game.

They both go 0-16, Bengals win on a coin flip.

The Bengals will have the #1 pick. Remember that these are the Lions that we are talking about and they screw up everything.........including getting the #1 pick.

In all honesty, how terrible would it be if we got 2 or 3? There are a few guys that are right at the top of the draft and none of them are standout #1 guys that everyone knows are going first. So even if we get #2 or #3 (don't see that one happening), we're still going to get a potential stud, especially with someone new drafting. Lets take a look at the last top picks and see which one was a clear-cut have to have him type:
08 - Jake Long - Jury's still out but there was debate as to who they should take
07 - JaMarcus Russell - Nope
06 - Mario Williams - Everyone thought Reggie Bush was the guy to take
05 - Alex Smith - Ha
04 - Eli Manning - This is the last clear cut guy I can think of, but just in case this one wasn't good enough for you....
03 - Carson Palmer
So its been quite a while, I think we'll be safe with a top 2, plus we won't have to pay as nearly as much for a #2 as a #1

Depends on who is 1-3 projected at the time. No way to tell right now.
I'm sure S.D. was happy they had the #1 pick even though the player they wanted was at #5 (LT). They got the better player, plus a franchise QB with the extra pick.
Being #1 gives you the option of trading down if you don't want that spot. It's certainly not bad to get an extra pick for free.

I think Cinci could win their last two games. The Lions have the toughest part of their schedule in the last five games. The worst part is, all of those teams will be fighting for their playoff lives. The Lions will go 0-16. I'm almost sure of it.

Looking at the Lions' schedule, I think they have a shot against Tennessee and Minnesota.
As for Cincy, I think KC's the obvious choice. Don't count out the Ravens though, they lost to the Dolphins last year...

Well the Bengals have the early lead... I'm not sure the Lions can keep up.
