It appears the football player won. Perhaps he should save his aggression for Saturday afternoons.

Sources say LSA senior Mouth Milano, a running back on the Michigan football team, is suspected of assaulting LSA junior Steve Kampfer, right, a defenseman on the Michigan hockey team.

The source told me yesterday that someone from the football team allegedly tackled and slammed Kampfer. I know, insert Michigan football tackling joke here. He said Kampfer ended up with a cracked skull and T1 vertebra and is in a head and neck brace. This is the result of an alleged assault, not horseplay, and police are involved.

Okay, that's not cool.

This is a legitimate story regarding UM athletics.

Well, if you ever have had extended interactions with, or exposure to, the UM student body you would understand.

My cousins went to UM and they were little twits as were all of their UM friends they brought around. Secondly, one of my cousins went to UM undergrad and law school and after she finished she said, "I have experienced enough 'blue' to last me a lifetime" and to this day does not root for UM because of her experience.

Hell no. They were just smug little asses that went out of their way to let you know they went to UM and that UM was a really, really great school. Then, we would break up into volleyball or softball teams and they would get physically dominated.

I will admit that in my college days I went to visit my friends at U of M and there was a large percentage of douchebags there. However, MSU had roughly the same percentage of douchebags when I visited those friends. U of M usually was the nerdy douchebags that thought way too highly of themselves whereas MSU usually had the high testosterone douchebags.

I did have more fun at MSU parties.

So the guy who says he physically dominated his cousin in volleyball and softball, no less, is the one calling OTHER people fags.

I think I need some time to process that. Keep in mind that males cannot play either sport in high school competitively. It's only when you're infatuated with beer and reliving baseball memories or trying to pick up chicks with tramp stamps (and steal them away from pear shaped lesbians) that males engage in those sports. But it's ok, I guess.

So I had a friend that went to State and she had a bad experience. Got drunk at a party, crashed on a couch, hair lit on fire, etc. Doesn't cheer for State now.

Actually, Tre tells a great story about an MSU football player, a hot chick, a garbage bag and some anal beads. Sounds like there are fucked up things happening at all universities.

How many carries did this Michigan Running Back have in his career? Will he lose his scholarship because of this assault?

I guess we'll get to find out "how the shoe fits." I don't know how to put up a link, but apparently after the small blowout Saturday Night a group of MSU Football players rolled up to a house party and decided to take out their aggression on some people. Just like in AA, these people were the hockey team and one of the hockey players has been hospitalized with a serious head injury. I can't wait to hear about how "It's okay because Mark D'Antoni will bring swift justice to the culprits and this behavior won't be tolerated."

P.S. Can someone throw up a link from the LSJ so that Bukdow doesn't think I'm making this crap up!!!

Potential MSU trouble

East Lansing Police and MSU are confirming that a fight took place early Sunday morning on Center Street involving some unidentified MSU student-athletes.

The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed. Detective Lt. Kevin Daley, who is heading the investigation, said it will likely be Friday at the earliest before he's done interviewing everyone and deciding on charges.
No one will say which sports teams are involved. One man is in the hospital after taking a punch, falling backward and hitting his head. "Multiple things took off, unfortunately," after that, Daley said, and several others got minor injuries.
It's premature to speculate about potential involvement from any football players. Stay tuned, we'll have more in Tuesday's State Journal and if and when charges are filed.

What I am hearing is this; A hockey player`s girlfriend started flirting with a football player. The hockey player takes offense and he and his buddies rough up the football player. The football player then returns with a group of his friends and then it turns into a toolbox tumult. The players involved were underclassmen and none were significant or starters. As far I know the only injuries were to peoples` pride. Idiots.

Whats with hockey players and football players?

People's Pride? What about the hockey player that is in the hospital that had his head split open (ableit from the concrete)? Does he not count because he wasn't a starter either? Are you trying to prove a point by exclaiming that the players were underclassmen? I would think if anything that by being an underclassman you would be part of this great recruiting job that Mark D'Antoni has done. Didn't he only recruit kids that are stand-up people and who were going to help turn around things in EL? Sounds like its a new coach, but the same 'ol Sparties IMO.

We will just have to wait and see. Regardless, I trust Dantonio to handle the situation correctly.

Also, those big Philly Cheese Steaks you seem so fond of should only find their egress to your body through your mouth.
