View Full Version : OGT: Lions @ Vikings (Week 6, 1:00 PM EST, FOX)
Wilfredo Ledezma 10-11-2008, 09:34 AM Ron Pitts & Tony Boselli calling the game...
Distribution Map (http://www.the506.com/nflmaps/2008-06-FOX1.html) Hilarious how they broadcast the game in Oklahoma JUST because of Adrian Peterson
Kitna, Calvin, & Roy are all questionable
I'd like to see Stanton play, but whatever...

Wilfredo Ledezma 10-11-2008, 01:32 PM Gus Frerotte can earn a Pro Bowl bid tomorrow
Glenn 10-12-2008, 10:36 AM I wonder if both Petersen and Taylor can get 200 yds each?
I'll go with Minny 38, Lions 10.
And that's only because Mr. Noodle will call off the dogs early.
Tavaris should get some decent PT, too.
Vinny 10-12-2008, 10:39 AM They might both get 6 touchdowns each for the two of them apiece also.
My family was discussing a mercy rule for today, how many points the Lions would have to be losing by before we finally got so fed up we would turn off the game. We knew for sure that it had to be over 21; otherwise we'd be done by the second quarter.
Tahoe 10-12-2008, 11:58 AM I'm watching the whole damn game. I need to keep my hatred of Millen up.
Tahoe 10-12-2008, 01:03 PM Bullocks with the best of the year, imo.
Frerotte hurt?
Danny O, baby. This shit gets turned around RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW! That all we needed was a change in QB and the winning starts.
Tahoe 10-12-2008, 01:36 PM LMAO @ Danny O. Runs it out of bounds for a safetey. But thats Marinelli's fault for not teaching the fundamentals of tackling.
One of thee dumbest/funniest things I've ever seen. Thank you Dan O.
0-16
But how do they not first have the QB go into the line for at least a couple of yards and some breathing room? What a bunch of morons.
Tahoe 10-12-2008, 02:05 PM We are actually somewhat resembling a football team for almost a half of a game now.
Tahoe 10-12-2008, 02:05 PM 3 hits by Bullocks today. 1 caused the fumble.
Tahoe 10-12-2008, 02:13 PM Tigers 3, Twinks 2
Vinny 10-12-2008, 02:31 PM We're screwed if they get into our bullpen.
Tahoe 10-12-2008, 02:56 PM lol, yea we need a complete game today.
Tahoe 10-12-2008, 02:57 PM I feel like a fan again cuz I can say....We just got robbed by the refs. That was clearly an interference call on the Vikes. CJ was bumped for sure.
Tahoe 10-12-2008, 02:57 PM Shit, TD Vikes.
DrRay11 10-12-2008, 03:21 PM Calvin's down, Orlovsky's down. Two big hits on the same play... LOL!
Bullshit, that was not a fumble.
Tahoe 10-12-2008, 03:49 PM 3 horseshit calls today.
DrRay11 10-12-2008, 03:51 PM Yeah that was some BS..
Oh well, whatever it takes to get to 0-16!
Tahoe 10-12-2008, 03:53 PM ^ I know, I'm conflicted...about who I want to win this game.
DrRay11 10-12-2008, 04:02 PM Well it has been decided!
0-5 and counting...
Tahoe 10-12-2008, 04:04 PM LOL at the last play...fitting ending.
They were pretty damn good on D today (or was Minn just that bad?). I actually enjoyed watching the game (might be from low expectations). And they did get hosed by the refs.
Wilfredo Ledezma 10-12-2008, 05:11 PM The defense turned in probably what will be their best performance of the season, and they still lost.
5 sacks, forced 3 turnovers, blocked a FG, and kept AP modest...and all you have to show for it is a L
With the first pick in the 2009 NFL Draft...
WTFchris 10-12-2008, 10:08 PM ^no shit. Even St Louis and Houston won. Bengals and Lions are only winless teams now.
Glenn 10-13-2008, 08:29 AM I was dead wrong and lost almost all my alpacas, but I am okay with this loss.
Also, the Vikings are not as good as they should be.
Mr. Noodle is a horrible coach.
Glenn 10-13-2008, 09:28 AM I just read that Drew Henson was the 3rd string QB yesterday, lol
Zekyl 10-13-2008, 09:49 AM Whoa what? Who did we cut to get him on the active roster? That's sad.
Glenn 10-13-2008, 09:50 AM I think he was on the practice squad.
I'm not positive, but when they deactivated Kitna, I think that allowed them to promote Henson.
Zekyl 10-13-2008, 09:52 AM Yeah, I knew he was practice squad QB, but I had no idea he'd been promoted. I love that they told Kitna to not even come to the game.
WTFchris 10-13-2008, 10:27 AM We should trade Kitna to a team that wants a vet backup (is there such a team that wants him for a year?). We'd only get a day 2 pick, but why not?
Zekyl 10-13-2008, 11:40 AM If we are 100% sure we're not playing him anymore, I don't see how it would hurt. Youth movement underway. You've got Orlovsky and Stanton to play QB and your #3 doesn't matter quite so much so Drew will be just fine.
Was it just me or did quite a few of Orlovsky's throws look wobbly? Not quite lame duck, but definitely not a tight spiral on his deep passes.
WTFchris 10-13-2008, 12:54 PM I think Kitna has another year on his contract though. I doubt they do it because they'd be looking for 2 QBs next year (Dan O is a FA). Their plan will be to hope Kitna can back up Stanton next year (which I'd be fine with).
Glenn 10-13-2008, 01:18 PM We should trade Kitna to a team that wants a vet backup (is there such a team that wants him for a year?). We'd only get a day 2 pick, but why not?
How about Dallas?
Jerrah doesn't care about taking on extra payroll.

:dismissed:
WTFchris 10-13-2008, 01:50 PM Is he any better than Johnson?
Timone 10-14-2008, 05:44 PM IIRC, Orlovsky was pretty good on those rollout plays*. Kitna can only dream of making those throws.
*with exception of the one in the endzone.
WTFchris 10-14-2008, 06:19 PM But he didn't get sacked on that play!
