Stuckey, Afflalo, Sharpe, Maxiell, Kwame/Amir, Dice (assuming the starting role be between Kwame and Amir, leaving the other to come off the bench).

I love the blend of defense and energy with this group. Last season our bench was the funnest part of Pistons games, in my mind. I imagine that Dice will be looked upon as the primary scoring weapon off the bench until Stuckey starts exploiting matchups. With the scoring burden on Stuckey and Dice, that should leave the rest of the bench to flourish as role players. I think we need a better name than, "zoo crew".

I hope Stuck is first off the bench every night. Firstly, he's awesome, imo, second it'll make him better come playoff time, third CBill will be save energy, etc. I'd even start Stuckey vs some PGs.

Def agree that it should be a fun season to watch. I get NBATV now too so I'll get to see a few more games.

I think Stuckey will be the primary scorer off the bench, really. Dice will be #2.

I think Stuckey has a legitimate change at Sixth Man OTY, provided SAS doesn't pull that crap with Manu coming into the game at the first deadball.

As reported by our very own Glenn Danzig, Manu out until December.

Do you think Maxiell could ultimately be the one who get's shafted on minutes...?

You'd have to think that when Dyess first checks in, it will be Amir who comes out.

I still have no idea how I want the starting lineup to shake out. I don't expect Maxiell or McDyess to start, but this means that the two starting candidates (Kwame/Amir) could either start or be buried on the bench.

I don't know what I like more:
Wallace/Maxiell/Johnson
Brown/McDyess/Wallace?
or
Johnson/Maxiell/McDyess
Wallace/McDyess/Brown

Either way, unless I'm hyping the bench too much, this is a great problem to have.

Well my hope is that getting shafted on minutes is finally put to bed in this new era. Whose to say though?

sounds like the starting job is Amir's to lose.

Curry: Johnson is Pistons' starting power forward
