View Full Version : MSU vs. ND

Well, my little blue and yellow brothers, MSU will take revenge on ND and save face for the state of Michigan. The deciding factor for an MSU victory will be the running game led by Javon Ringer. If ND couldn`t stop the fruit of two East Texas meth-heads, Sammy McGuffy, with holes being opened by an extremely soft UM O-line, then they sure as hell aren`t going to fair well against a real running team.

MSU will have to limit the big plays between Cindy Clausen and Goldie Hawn and Hoyer will have to play decent, but MSU is simply a better team than ND. MSU 27 ND 17.

MSU should certainly win this one, because Notre Dame is not any good. Decent weather and a running game won't make ND's defense very happy. ND can probably score a little bit, but when a team doesn't gift-wrap points for them they'll suffer.

bukdow: MSU is "simply a better team" and you only think they win 27-17 at home?
I detect a tenuous confidence.

bukdow, what have you seen from MSU to suggest they are simply a "better team" than ND?

I didn't know beating Eastern Michigan & Florida Atlantic warrented such high praise.

I think maybe MSU by 10

MSU 27

Beating a team by ten, and covering the spread, would definitely establish the fact that one team is better than the other.

Zippy, showing a egregious lack of tangible numerical understanding like that may be OK at Joe Walsh Ackounting Skool, but I wouldn`t cross the street with it.

Seriously guys, you killed me for using the word lubricious, does this top that?

Willy, you really need to think or do some research before you start spouting off. You already have obvious inherent limitations, you certainly don`t need to pile on. However, as a young conservative, you are acting true to form.

Oh, never mind. What difference does it make. MSU by 10.

Ten leaves the outcome in doubt. Go ahead and rationalize it, bukky, but a ten-point prediction tells me you lack confidence in your Sparties. Michigan's Keystone Kops show on Saturday was a giftwrapped present to the Irish.
I'd be looking at that and thinking, "Wow. If we don't fumble 89 times, don't commit stupid penalties, and don't have guys on our team named Grady and Sheridan, we should beat them by 21 points."

I'm buying into Sparty nowadays. I think Dantonio is a good coach with a solid plan, and MSU is going to be someone to pay attention to for the next decade under him.

I think the Sparties should blow ND oot of the water, 38-14.

Ringer should be able to have his way with the ND defense. As long as Hoyer doesn't fuck up (which he's more than capable of doing) they'll be fine. Just run the ball.

And the Sparty defense needs to start getting to the QB. Maybe Trevor Anderson will show up tomorrow...

Ill be tailgating tomorrow. First time since 2003 I have been back to an MSU game.

Spartans will wallop Fatty Weis and his band of miscreants.

I've been to Spartan Stadium once, and it downpoured the entire time and totally f-ed up the tailgating enjoyment.

It was in 2001 and it was makeup game from the 9/11 cancellations, State beat the fuck out of Missouri like 55-7 or something...

Oh sweet nostalgia...I was in 8th grade...

Well...about a quarter and a 1/2 in and Hoyer sucks, the MSU run D is real good so far and I can't believe shitty ND beat UofM.

Brian Hoyer may very well be the worst QB in the Big Ten.

Heaven forbid they face a team with a strong run defense, because they will be f-ed.

also, without looking at the numbers, I'd guess that BJ Cunningham has more drops than catches on the season...

Hey, whiny, complexed little shit-head, you might want to amend your Ringer/Heisman comment. with 699 yards and 11 TDs, he is the leading RB in the country and is very much in the Heisman talk.

You see, whiny shit-head, you are so fucked in the head due of your desire to be among what you perceive as the elite because your reality (Oakland U. and Walsh Accounting school) is so pitiful by any measure. Therefore, your emotional insecurities manifest themselves in your bashing of anything, and everything, MSU. When in fact, MSU is far and away superior to any academic experience you have ever had or had the opportunity of having. Thus, adding to your insecurity and pitifulness.

Wow he made Bukdow jump out his upscale shell. Dr Tre would be proud of annoyance on that level.

He won't win the Heisman. Kevin Smith ran for 2500+ yds and 29 TD and wasn't even a finalist.

If Ringer can put up those kinds of numbers vs. Ohio St, Wisconsin, and Penn St, then come talk to me.

And LOL at you calling me childish names! I thought I was supposed to be the 20 year old...?

You need to grow some thicker skin, it's way too easy to piss you off.
