I really wish he could play the 2 and they had a guy that played the point. Its so obvious he is a 2guard

Guys, let's be real here. Stuckey is probably going to be good enough to play both the 1 and the 2 at the same time, if given the chance.

I really am a Stuckey supporter, but I wouldn't mind seeing this thread become ridiculous. :)

I'm pretty sure he'll lead the league in points and assists.

I was wondering if these two were related, so I looked it up and they are!

What does this mean for Chansi's NFL career?

in volleyball, this is called "the set"

I'll take it one step further: it means that the name Stuckey will come to be associated with professional sports DOMINANCE.

It beats Chansi Billups. I hate Billups when he gets to chancy.

is finishing at the rim something that can be learned/improved/refined/mastered? is it something that you have or don't? i'm worried about Stuckey missing layups and not getting enough and-one plays. he's getting to the basket regularly, but he's just missing too many layups. some are so damn close, that i assume they'll just start falling.....but that was last season.

my concern is that without a respectable jumper, his lack of finishing skills will keep him as a mediocre or backup PG.

am i jumping the gun here?

yes. if rip hamilton can improve his outside shooting which used to be horrorific, then stuckey can definitely improve his finishing. he's a good enough athlete to be able to finish so it's all a matter of more experience and continued work on his game.

although it's hard to practice your ability to 'finish'. it comes natural for many but i think improved ball handling and more confidence and experience going against nba defenders (he's essentially still a rookie since he missed a good bit of time last year) he'll get better.

I'm not sure if it can be perfected, but I think it can be improved. And if anyone is likely to improve it, I think it's Stuckey. He wants to succeed, and I think he'll put in the work in practice and get things straightened out between the ears. Once he does that, the sky is the limit for him, in my opinion.
