Iron Johnson (iron.johnson@golling.com) is the guy Lindsey's a partner with.

Not sure what it means totally, but it seems notable. It wasn't in Google's page cache, but Google's indexing cache.

Way to fuck over a guy who (from the story) was doing things right (wasn't living beyond his means).

I have to say that, while I do sympathize for the guy, you've gotta be pretty naive if you don't think there's anything shady about a deal that get's you $300,000 just for signing a few papers and waiting around for a year.

I guess that makes the Hunter aspect a little more intriguing, though. Lindsey's celebrity and image probably lent alot of credibility to the deal and made it that much easier to fall for.

The worst part of this is all of the little Lindsey Hunter fans out there who have his posters on their walls and bought the authentic jerse...what? Oh, nevermind.

Well, sounds like Hunter is a real jerk. However, that guy is an idiot. If Hunter had a buyer lined up to turn a big profit on the house why would he even bring that guy into the mix at all? If it was a legit deal, Hunter could have simply done it himself.

I bet that if you were told this story without knowing what Piston was involved, nobody would have guessed Hunter.

and word to the wise, if anybody ever mentions real estate investment to you, start running the other way.....this thing is not going to turn for some time....it may flatten but not totally turn

My mom in particular will be upset to hear about this. I got her into watching games once in a while because she liked LH. Bet she doesn't like him so much after hearing about this.

Who doesn't get weirded out about joint bank accounts especially with a guy you've met only a couple times? The female n I have been together for years and have a kid; we finally got a joint bank account only a few months ago and even in our situation it felt weird.

I could understand if you get caught up in some whirlwind situation where you show up and an hour later you sign papers only to regret it later, but this guy had an endless amount of nights to sit at home and think about it. He also didn't read what he signed at ALL if he signed two loans. Yeah there's a lot of shit to read and I may not read every word but damn (also.. call your lawyer, have them read every word).

If I'm so concerned after months and go to the house to find the car of the guy who is screwing me, I'm not just going to leave because it might be 'awkward'. Damn straight it's gonna be awkward, that's why I'm there.


Strange it's LH, but then again it's always the one you least suspect.
