Denver gets the defense that they really need and something to get the fans excited after the Camby dump.
Melo gets a fresh start at the Gold Club.
Anybody know the BYC implications of this one, if any?

If they are going to move Carmelo, this would be the best way to do it. Smith doesn't command the ball, so Iverson won't have to fight with anyone for shots.

Great trade for Atlanta, they get a pretty consistent scorer, all star and not afraid to take a shot in the clutch.
Denver gets a big guy (who's skinny) who's afraid of the post, loves the outside shots even though his percentages don't love him, who is an elite shot blocker...hmm..almost sounds very similar to the guy that they traded only younger and a worse shooter...
Not so sure they're excited about that...neither are their fans.

Melo and Joe Johnson = good
Iverson and Josh Smith = good

Bah, I think Smith's new BYC status would keep this from happening.
I'm starting to think that he's going to end up taking the one year qualifying offer and go for unrestricted free agency next year.
