This is being generous, as I can see Michigan losing to Illinois, PSU and possibly even MSU.

But I think 8-4 isn't an outrageous expectation. Of course, neither is 5-7.

I wonder what Ledezma will have to say.

I think they'll go 8-4, I don't see them losing to ND however, I think they'll lose to Ohio St, Wisconsin, Purdue, and either the Illinois or Utah game...

Utah is going to be ranked in the preseason polls, so they're not going to be a 'pushover' by any means, I wouldn't be surprised if the Rich Rod era begins with a home loss

A number of people nationally think 6-6. I say 7-5 at the very least. Based on that, and uncertainty with the QB position, I stuck right on 7 wins so I went with the under even though I think they'll be better than 6-6.

Okay seriously, what did Notre Dame do that would make you believe they are suddenly going to improve that much next year?

They lose Travis Thomas, Tom Zbikowski, John Sullivan, John Carlson and Trevor Laws, and they're suddenly going to be better???

I don't think so...

Don't forget that we lose Mike Hart, Chad Henne, Jake Long, Mario Manningham, Adrian Arrington, Adam Kraus, Ryan Mallett, etc., plus we are going to try to implement a completely new system that the current players on the roster weren't recruited for. And oh yeah, Steven Threet is our quarterback.

They lost talented players who were not Weis recruits.

Now they have a group of juniors featuring 2 five star guys and 10 four stars.
Their sophomores have 1 five star and 12 four stars.
Their freshmen have 3 five stars and 16 four stars.

In other words, their last three recruiting classes have netted 6 five star guys and 38 four stars. That's essentially a first and second team strictly made up of 4 and 5 star guys, and oh yeah, that doesn't count any seniors or 5th year seniors. Many of the younger guys got a ton of PT last year and took their lumps. They're not going 12-0, but they will be much better.

Why will they lose to Michigan State?

Michigan is still going to be pretty stellar on D...we had two frosh make the Freshmen All American Team (ezeh & warren) and we return the entire defensive line and both corners...

I don't see how MSU wins...especially when its at UM

MSU lost a ton of talent too, Warrick, Nwagbuo, Saint-Dic, Thornhill, SirDarean, Devin Thomas, Jehuu, TJ Williams, Terry Love, Deon Curry, Kellen Davis, Travis Key, Baldwin, Getvayi, Petey Clifford

^^I mean those were all starters and their top players...and with a less than spectacular frosh class coming in, I don't see MSU being that great...

Funny you all have UW penciled as a loss when I'm not even sure. Lot of good players back for UW but QB is a question.
