I still like my 3 way trade with the Suns and Clippers, or my trade with just the Clippers.

Trade Sheed and Billups and our pick to the Clips for Brand and the #7. Would they do this? who knows, but they would be at least a good West playoff team with Billups, Mobley, Thornton, Sheed, and Kaman.

Offer a contract to Bonzi, Nocioni, Posey, James Jones (Portland). I like Nocioni and Bonzi a bit more since they can actually finish a game and put pressure on prince not to play so passively, and Bonzi is a post player/slasher.

Use the #7 to draft best available center and Resign Ratliff.

Find some veteran PG or convince Lindsey to be on the roster as the 3rd or 4th PG.

I don't really want to start Stuckey at this point, but we don't actually have a ton to lose at this point since we weren't going to win anyway.

Let the power positions be manned by Dice and Brand, with backups Amir and Max, and Theo and the rook as the other backups unless the rook proves more worthy. They will be needed against teams with true centers.

Tay and hopefully a slashing backup to push him at the SF.
Rip and Stuckey, with Afflalo and a vet min PG to backup. We are much thinner in the backcourt, but if we don't since Bonzi or Noc, we will have a bit of cash left over.

I don't think this offseason is that far fetched since it only involves one trade.

I am also going by the premise that Cheikh sucks until proven otherwise.

Actually I found an easy trade that I loved.

We trade Sheed for Camby, Atkins and #20. We would immediately cut Atkins and they would resign him.

Camby is the same age as Sheed, but is a true shotblocking center. He has what looks like a great contract, and will clear the way for us to play our bunch of true pfs. With the the 20 and 29 we could move up to the late lotto or more likely just pick a couple good players.

I don't like dealing for Camby. I'm a Camby fan, but he's a jump shooter too (doesn't play in the post). I don't see that helping our offense any.

He's a jumpshooter but he's that true center everyone here has been screaming for.

Camby is too injury prone. I'm not interested. One good season isn't enough.
