The skinny: The Pistons could use more size and power in the paint and the Australian native has that in abundance. He's coming off a big year in Australia and his game resembles Elton Brand's a little. At this point in the draft, he's worth the risk.

I don't have a problem with drafting some "potential" size if no trades are made AND we use the MLE on a more complete wing than Hayes.

Would Jawai join the team right away? Or would he stay overseas for a couple years? His youtube videos make him look like a monster, but consider his competition...

I've seen him play a couple games - didn't notice anything special about him...

This is a league where they show replays of people getting rebounds above the rim (im not even kidding) so don't take too much notice of his numbers.
He had a decent jumper fwiw...
