Like 6 of his first 7 pitches were balls but then he settled in nicely. He walked Abreu then went 3-1 on Duncan before he got Duncan and Matsui to ground out and Matsui to line out to left.

He was wild for the first couple of batters, but then settled in with a mid-90's fastball and a solid breaker.
