To be dumber than Charles Rogers is quite a feat. Black Dynamite 04-26-2008, 03:14 PM The wonderlic test is kinda retarded if its anything like i've heard. Not really something i'd judge anybody on earth by. DennyMcLain 04-26-2008, 03:34 PM The wonderlic test is kinda retarded if its anything like i've heard. Computing//////.........******..........#####..........******.... .....##### Compiling Data/////.......*****.......#####..........******.........# #### Codename V Wonderlic score: 5.9999999 Glenn 04-26-2008, 07:46 PM There was a kid in my high school (yes, almost 20 years ago) that got a 12 on the ACT. His nickname became, "12". Not sure why you would tell anyone that info. defrocked 04-26-2008, 07:51 PM I actually had to take the Wonderlic for my current job, and it's nothing special. Just a timed (12 minutes, I think) test of 50 questions, starting out easy and getting progressively more difficult. It's a lot of logic and language, with some simple math and spacial thinking thrown in. Very similar to the ACT as I recall. And what'd you get? Glenn 04-27-2008, 02:14 PM 26, not bad for being hungover like a son' bitch MOLA1 04-27-2008, 03:11 PM What number comes next - 8, 4, 2, 1, 1/2, 1/4 ? Manningham's answer was= fruits AND vegtebels Jethro34 04-27-2008, 06:45 PM I didn't take the ACT seriously, so I only managed a 23. Most people at my school that got similar scores retook it. I was a "doesn't apply himself" kid who didn't care about many classes and only got a 2.7 because of it, so I figured 23 was sufficient for the schools I would be going to. If only someone had gotten my attention earlier so I could have gotten into Syracuse - my dream school. Yes, Syracuse, who has a better program in the field I originally wanted to go in. Not Michigan. But damn me, I still cheer for the Wolverines. Hold on, I'm losing my signal on my handheld. Damn Wal-Mart. Wilfredo Ledezma 04-27-2008, 10:40 PM Mario had a little trouble. He scored a 6. For comparison, Charles Rogers scored a 10. Yet he was a 3rd round pick, and Deon Curry & Terry Love went undrafted. Good talk. Big Swami 04-28-2008, 02:32 PM What number comes next - 8, 4, 2, 1, 1/2, 1/4 ? Manningham's answer was= fruits AND vegtebels I laughed harder at this than reason justifies. Zekyl 04-28-2008, 05:48 PM Defrocked, what did you get on the Wonderlic? Fool 04-28-2008, 05:51 PM I got a tongue ring bitches, I aced that shit. jagrskmu 04-28-2008, 06:04 PM Jethro34 - even after all these years I'm still beating you - ACT 29, after having gone to Windsor the night before. How ya doin'? defrocked 04-28-2008, 08:06 PM Defrocked, what did you get on the Wonderlic? 35. I coulda been a contender. Jethro34 04-28-2008, 08:22 PM I'm fantastic. It's been a LONG time. Yeah, the 23 was good enough for me. I went to an academically talented elementary and tested in the top 1% of the city to go to the math and science program at the Center for Arts and Sciences in Saginaw, but my family moved across town into the township which didn't have buses for CAS at the time. It totally made me lose interest in academics and I focused on music. I'm borderline ADD (frequent daydreams and short attention span as a youngster). In high school I was known for doing the work but forgetting to turn it in. I did well enough on all the tests that I didn't fail the classes, but bring home the occasional C got common enough that I stopped caring because I hadn't realized the impact. So, on the ACT when I started to daydream I didn't have the motivation to focus and I guessed on half of it. Sadly, I didn't know any of the guessing strategies that would have improved my score. But again, when you've allowed yourself to slip into a 2.7, 23 is sufficient. Finally in college I regained my interest and graduated with a 3.8. It frustrates me that I blew off all those years. Wilfredo Ledezma 04-28-2008, 09:40 PM Here's one for Glenn/MoTown... "Isn't Wonderlic an NBA ref?" Zekyl 04-28-2008, 11:19 PM Wil, you've been paying attention! Vinny 04-29-2008, 02:18 AM We need to start calling Glenn "12" so he can feel like he's in High School again. Glenn 04-29-2008, 05:58 AM HAY WAIT, I WASN'T "12" Timone 04-29-2008, 06:06 AM If Glenn was 12, wouldn't he have been in middle school then?? Darth Thanatos 05-10-2008, 08:57 PM Wasn't Joey Harrington's score in the mid-high 30's? I remember hearing that somewhere after the Vince Young fiasco. Turned out pretty well....... |
