This year they take an OT who isn't half the player Thomas is when they could have had any WR in the 2008 class. It's likely that none of the WRs in this class will be as good as Johnson, but Thomas + 2008 WR is better than Johnson + Cherilus. I lol at Millen again.

I disagree. The difference between Johnson and 2008 WR is far bigger than the difference between a good OT and a decent one in Cheridus. Calvin's measurables can't be found in any draft class in the future. You can find Joe Thomas every year.

Rookie Pro Bowl OTs don't happen every year. Ask the Jets and Raiders how they feel about their recent OTs who were drafted that high.

So will Avril play DE or LB for us? Everywhere I've looked, they've said he may not have the bulk to play DE at the next level.

Dizon was an OLB in college but from what I hear, he's a good fit as an ILB in the Tampa-2 for us.

Well, I was out of town or I would have predicted Chris Williams to us in the 1st. I thought Albert would have been gone and Williams would have been there. I like the OT pick (in fact I had us taking him with the Roy/Dallas trade we mentioned). He's a better RT and run blocker. Too bad we couldn't have gone down a few more picks and got him, but I'm sure Millen tried that.

Dizon looks like a good fit. I really like the Stewart pick. I don't know anything about the DL players we got, but we definately needed some help there. If they pan out this might be his best overall draft yet. Yes, Roy and KJ were a good first round, but we haven't gotten much from the other rounds in the past.

Well, I read the DT was a very good gap filler that will stop the run. Perhaps he compliments Redding well, I don't know. You won't get a complete player in the 3rd round anyway. Everyone has flaws there.

From my understanding, the Tampa 2 doesn't necessitate size, more speed and technique.

Which means when the next coach comes in and wants to run a completely different system...
