Well I know where NOT to go after reading that.

Carter's been pretty active in the middle east for decades. A lot of Zionists don't like him at all because he is really pushing for Palestinian statehood and using pretty tough language to try to get Israel to make concessions.

I don't know if I can contribute much more than that, except to say that using tough language on Israel is not likely to move them, if I know anything about Jews at all.
