Only 6 teams have won the Title since I was born. (Lakers, Spurs, Bulls, Pistons, Heat, Rockets).

What happened back in 2003, 2004, etc. has no bearing on what happens this year.

I heard someone say recently (an expert on ESPN Radio) that the New Orleans Hornets will have a hard time advancing in the playoffs because even the old LJ/Zo teams struggled to advance back in the day.

Regardless, I still think the Celtics win it.

Although, the more and more I watch LA play the more I believe in them.

Yeah, I just don't think anyone's got the firepower to knock down Boston. LA is coming together but there's still so little experience there.

The Celtics team defense is just so much better than I expected it to be, and I think that will be the difference.

It really pisses me off.

LA has more than enough firepower to take care of Boston, IMO.

But like Glenn said, Boston's defense will be the difference.

But then, there is the Spurs...

The Lakers were my pick to win the West, so I have to stand by it.

Yeah, it'd piss me off if Bawston would get to lay claim to another Championship, but at the same time I have respect for Garnett and what he's done for and with the team (I've got no love for the fans, however).

If Boston wins the East/NBA Title this year, I can't be too mad. At least you could say they're a team who deserved it.

While Boston deserves it (sort of), I don't want to see them win it. If Detroit doesn't win, which I still think they can (and possibly will), I hope it's SAS.
