View Full Version : ESPN the Mag article on Sheed Glenn 04-09-2008, 02:27 PM Nice read, too long to paste here. http://sports.espn.go.com/espnmag/story?id=3336339 Glenn 04-09-2008, 02:30 PM I had to laugh at this, though. These days, that team is a member of the NBA's elite. But it goes into the playoffs with one serious flaw: post play. Detroit has yet to replace the likes of Ben Wallace and Mehmet Okur, and it will not win another title unless someone clears the glass and lifts an offense that is suddenly close to the bottom of the league in points in the paint. That someone is Wallace. Timone 04-09-2008, 02:31 PM Sheed pisses me off sometimes, but I do hope he remains a Piston until the end of his career. Glenn 04-09-2008, 02:42 PM So Sheed's going to be sporting a fresh haircut tonight, it seems. Zekyl 04-09-2008, 02:44 PM Yeah, we all miss feeding the ball to Ben and Memo in the post oh so much. What will we ever do without them? Timone 04-09-2008, 02:46 PM So Sheed's going to be sporting a fresh haircut tonight, it seems. Hopefully he gets a neck tattoo as well. Zekyl 04-09-2008, 02:47 PM Hey, he's from UNC, not Memphis. BubblesTheLion 04-09-2008, 04:27 PM Yeah, we all miss feeding the ball to Ben and Memo in the post oh so much. What will we ever do without them? Rebounding is post play. Zekyl 04-09-2008, 09:48 PM Ahh, that makes much more sense. |
