View Full Version : Hey Gutz...I BOUGHT A PS3!!! HAHA
Baker 03-28-2008, 04:22 PM You'll never believe it, I bought a PS3. Many here would probably have thought I would be the last person on the face of the earth to buy one after our long standing debate. But like I mentioned in our original debate, if I found it worthy...I'd just buy it.
Don't get too gitty though. I still pretty much stand on my original belief. I didn't buy the PS3 for the gaming side, I bought it for Blu-Ray but I thought you'd find comedy in it. Trying to find a quality game to buy for it was terrible. There aren't many great games out there which was my original argument. The other side of my argument was the price. I happened to get a 100 bucks off because I bought a 1080p LCD with it.
I will vouch though on your side that the system abilities are amazing. The picture is UNREAL. And they are bringing in some much better titles soon. So I still stand on my original base, but I will concede that it has so much potential. I figured I had to buy 1 game and Assassin's Creed looks great on it.
Thought you'd get a kick out of the small update. haha

Say what you want, in the end, you'll see that PS3 was one big disaster.
I remember somebody here bashing me for bashing the PS3. Now the PS3 is getting worked, dropping the price alarmingly fast, video game companies that were considering exclusives w/ PS3 are changing their minds, and the 360 is flourishing.

I did the same thing... one of the best purchases of my life... The Show is fucking amazing. I love my PS3.

Yeah, I don't have any blu-ray discs but I'm using my PS3 solely as a DVD player going forward.

Have you gotten a PS4 yet?
I'm still rolling with the PS3.
