Count me in for a vote for Pistons Win as well, apparently I didn't click that box.

I was thinking about skipping this one tonight, but in hindsight, I think we could see Amir's most significant amount of playing time of the year.

Career highs for a few guys tonight? (Amir, Stucko, Afflalo, etc)

I know someone else who VANTS to play, too.

I have tickets to this one.

In an unrelated note, my fiancee (back at school) just informed me that she is going to visit the basketball hall of fame tomorrow as part of a group trip.

Life isn't fair sometimes...

we are getting it together. I think its a good game for stuckey and affalo to both get better for the playoffs. Also I hope juan dixon never sees the floor again. I just think we move better with hunter/stuckey/affalo in providing energy.

That was a sweet pick by AA, then finishes with a hoop and some harm.

Tahoe

I agree with that fuck Juan Dixon getting minutes from AA sentiment. But he's a great inurance policy if we get hurt down the stretch.

Aaron Afflalo got off his hot seat tonight and Lindsey Hunter quickly sat down on it.

An NBDL PG lit him up for 10 points in 5 minutes. Pathetic.

Hunter didnt get the benefit of many whistles. But come playoff time less fouls are called typically(unless its lebron), so i still say hunter isnt on a hot seat much like affalo will probably still get stiffed for dixon in some odd chain of events.

Afflalo plays good against the D-league teams.

Still, I'd feel safer with Lindsey or Juan Dixon on the floor as opposed to having Afflalo on the floor, especially in the playoffs...

But thats just me.

Not sure which number was more ridiculous...

-Afflalo being +25 in a 16-point win

-Hunter being -2 in a 16-point win.

Yea The way Boston laughed at Juan Dixon's defense is a much better than a defender who can run the floor, hustle, and bring defense. Its not like those things are more important than a solely jump shooter only player.

To each his own all sarcasm aside.

Afflalo plays good against the D-league teams.
Yea and Dyess looks like trash against them. Billups gets owned by them on defense and they are better shot blockers than us. Face it this game means we suck.

That's basically what I came here to post. Except I have actually heard of Quinn... because Shaq used his name when talking shit about the Heat lol. I don't follow college hardcore by any means, but really I've never even heard these names.

We played one half of a semi-decent game against a JV team.
Let's not blow each other kissies all at once.

Our regular starters shouldn't have been out there for 30+ minutes.

What pisses me off is how quickly it will turn around. Next year when they run out there with Wade, Marion, and Beasley they'll be killing teams again. They could easily add Chris Douglas-Roberts or Taj Gibson in round 2.

Looks like we got one, at least.

"We didn't get off to a good start like we should have," said Arron Afflalo, who had 15 points and seven rebounds -- both career highs. "We should have attacked the post a little more, but we made some adjustments in the locker room and had a better second half."

It's important to win this one because it helps Orlando keep the 3rd seed and sends the Lebrons to Boston in the 2nd round.

Stars of the Miame game (http://www.mlive.com/pistons/index.ssf/2008/03/stars_of_the_miami_game.html)

STUDS: Arron Afflalo made the most of his third straight start with career highs in scoring (15) and rebounds (seven), not to mention getting a couple steals and a blocked shot. Teams with a total of 13 wins this late in the season have no studs.

SOLID: Chauncey Billups had his 13th double-double of the season, scoring 13 points to go with 11 assists. Chris Quinn had 11 points and seven assists for the Heat.

pwnt.
