Opinion on this new design...new to me anyway. I guess I'm a traditionalist, I only like the maize and blue with the classic M. My new hat has this paw on the back but a classic M on the front.

Not genuine.

Where's the Walmart price tag?

Glenn

I'll believe that is authentic when I see the glorious adidas logo.

No sooner.

I had basically that exact hat about ...5 years ago. I was happy with it.

Unless the university decides to have a mascot (which they should, I mean, if that retarded Badger can run around we could certainly have a Wolverine) then there should otherwise be no attempts in clothing or apparel to represent the actual mascot.

That hat's been around for a while. I actually thought it had died and disappeared a few years ago.

I wouldn't buy it, but I've seen worse.

Tahoe, I think that is a really wicked hat. I think you would look tits in it. The wolverine paw with the claws is really bitchin`. I think the chicks would be like, "Wow, look at that guy with the gnarly claw hat on. I bet he is dangerous."

Tits isn't a noun. Has Harper's taught you nothing?!

Perhaps you should do more partyin` on someon`s pussy and less time rocketing toward 20,000 posts on this message board.

NOTE: "partyin` on someon`s pussy" was a reference to a Red Hot Chili Peppers song from the late 1980s. Nonetheless, the RHCPs suck. Over-rated anti-corporate, corporate rock. Much along the lines of Rage Against the Machine.

U2 was the first concert I went to in 1986. If you are going to stalk, at least get your information right.

Timone

You went to their concert, so I assume you like them.

And because you do, you have no right to call anything overrated (musically, anyway...intellectually, you are THE man).

I was 14. Now, I think U2 sucks. Frankly, Bono should be turned into a pinata for a Ramadan celebration.

Because Rage Against the Machine was SO corporate. Wait, didn't they split because they didn't WANT to become corporate? Oh well, I suppose getting the facts right isn't as important as trying to make a point.

I like 3 or 4 songs by U2, but other than that they fucking blow.

In all seriousness, even though this is OT (hats aren't really worth discussing), what does THE bukdow have on his ipod as of this current moment?

Zekyl

People who read Harper's and Smithsonian don't have iPods! Those are trendy, overrated, and overpriced. They usually go with something by Creative Labs:

Well, you are correct about the trendy, over-priced part. Bands I am listening to at the moment are; The Silver Jews, Wilco (old), Pixies, Galaxie 500 and Mercury Rev (old) about covers it right now.

If you can appreciate The Silver Jews, then I will have to mildly reassess you. Anyway, another band I am listening to is Neutral Milk Hotel. The song "Holland, 1945" is a good place to start. I`m a Jew, what can I say.

bukdow, if it means anything, I'm a Michigan (football) fan who doesn't like Walmart Wolverines either.

You can be one or the other and not have to be both.

It should also be noted that, from what I understand, Michigan has a good hockey and baseball (?) team and I couldn't care less.

Neutral Milk Hotel is great. Jeremy Barnes lived with three of my good friends in college. I'm not going to claim we were great friends or anything, but I hung out with him a bunch of times. Great drummer. I saw Julian and Jeff when they came down to audition him. Everyone should really check out "In the Aeroplane Over The Sea". On Avery Island's great too but a little more fragmented.

Frat guys and old farts sitting in the suites in a few years. It may not be the coolest hats in the world, but there's a market for it and they'll sell plenty.
Over/under on days until you see someone rocking that at the local golf course = 9 days

After having read this thread....I threw up in my mouth numerous times due to the romantic love comedy that developed between the main cast of characters that usually hates each other. Hollywood loves to put out movies about this recycled shit.

This thread makes me glad I have been gone and a reason to stay gone.
