please don't play sheed. let him rest the ankle tonight and against philly. we don't need him until friday against the spurs anyway.

Can we finally beat these guys?

I say yes, mostly because "these guys" aren't really "those guys" that we lost to before.

Let's hope our guys come to play and don't try and be a hero.

DAMN YOU WIL! I saw that the game was at 6, so I told this girl to come over around 8:30ish to watch a movie, then I just looked again and its now listed at 8. I haven't seen a game in weeks.

Perhaps you should email Langlois for advice?

Dear Keith,

I've come across a strange circumstance. I can either watch the Pistons game or watch the Lethal Weapon movies with a girl from my web design class. I haven't seen a Pistons game in at least 2 weeks but this is supposed to be our first date. I'm not sure what to do. With your vast knowledge and experience with basketball and women, what would you do?

Make her watch the Pistons game. You'll be sure to get laid. I know Stuckey always gets me hot.

ESPN has some fine ass HD, tough call between that and Blaha.

Is it simulcast on FSND or TV20??? It will depend whos calling the game for me to debate where I watch it. If it's Dan Schulman and Dorris Burke, then I'll watch Blaha. If it's Tirico & Hubie, I can tolerate them.

If it's any combinations of Mike Breen, JVG, Mark Jackson, Jon Barry, or Bill Walton, than I'll watch Blaha as well...

I put in for my playoff tickets already. I should be at every game.

It's my going-away present to myself. I'm out of here as soon as the finals are over.

Also, the palace is fucking awesome for their discounts. I'm getting NBA finals tickets (if they make it) at like $80 a pop. First round tickets are cheaper than my regular season tickets.

I thought you were implying that your presence at the game held some sort of mystical power over the outcome, the "juju".

Anyhoo, anybody got any word on Sheed for tonight? The local hacks appear to be asleep at the wheel again.

Theo Ratliff seems to be quite a decent role player if you ask me. Definitely should be considered for a permanent rotation spot once Sheed comes back...

10 pts, 8 reb, 3 blks, +7 while on the floor...

Uhhh fuck no.

But he was solid though. But I woulda preferred better team defense against the Bulls. I'll take it though with a few real tests coming up.

BTW, the Bulls bitch at each other more than any team I've ever seen in person.

They literally do nothing but argue the whole time. Noah is the biggest bitch of them all, but he's hardly alone.

If you want the best team defense possible, put sheed and theo out there and watch the paint get locked down.

He's the riot starter, everyone else tales after. whoever coaches that team needs to kick his ass to get its attention.

Dont know about that. Theo still needs to catch up on our schemes and he looks a lil too slow at the moment. Chicago bigs were running circles around him.

Also I'm not liking Dixon much at PG. he makes some funky ass decisions. Alot of those funny decisions helped the bulls get back in it the first time. And on defense he's a for mismatch for the other team to go after.

blame paxon. you cant go into a season with everything up in the air like he did.

biffing on blockbuster after blockbuster, guys who were looking for their first big contract of their career seeing their name attatched to every trade rumor in the league.

i dont think you can overestimate how bad of a job paxon has done.

hes a classic example of the saying: "more is lost to indecision than to bad decision". what a clown.

Am I the only one that thought that Tay's injury and sudden recovery was a bit "D-WADE"-ish?

God, that was hard to type.

I think you guys are being dishonest.

When he was squirming around on the floor in pain, I was thinking "fuck, he's really hurt".

I was starting to picture Valter in the rotation and Hayes starting.

It wasn't good.

And then, after like 5 minutes kicking and yelling on the floor with his teammates around him, he popped up, shook his hand and shot two free throws.

He then proceeded to play better than he has in weeks, throwing down dunks, etc.

My wife even said, "man, he was really milking that injury, wasn't he?"

She mentioned Mateen and I had to tell her to shut it.

I agree. Move Dyess back to the bench, have him play 25 minutes a night rather than 30...

Theo is PERFECT for the role. Plus unlike Sheed, he can win the opening tip.

Not to mention, HoopsHype had a brief article about Theo takling to Joe D about him coming back next year to be the 5th big...

I think Sheed -could- win the opening tip if he wanted to.

The one thing Jerome James was good at besides fouling was winning the opening tip, which is how he got to be a starter.
