I'm tempted to buy it. Seriously i have every belief that it will be a disappointment, but i'm tempted to. Need a co-op game anyways since nobody likes to pass the controller much when friends fall through to play and we've beat resistance entertaining co-op more times than can be counted.

If I do pick it up i'll give an opinion i guess after a couple days( may not get to play it much yet).

I have this game on my "buy" list (along with many others). I need a game to get the PS3 back into playing shape, seeing as all I have for it right now are Blu-ray movies and All-Pro Football 2K8. I hope its single-player co-op is as good as it's been hyped; I don't generally get into games without a good offline mode.

I read that the AI is better than it was, but still could be better. But that was a hands on for 1-2 levels of play (atleast what the game article said). I'm about to pick it up if i can find a way to keep myself from buying MLB 2008 The Show. That game looks and from the demo plays excellent.

Bought it, barely though(still dont know how i talked myself on passing up MLB 08 The Show). Played it with one of my friends, and its pretty damn fun.

It is, best baseball game out there. One of the best ever maybe.

actually online is co-op, the battles? haven't tried them. but they are 2vs 2 strategic battles.
