1 and done is a stretch, but msu's team, as of now, doesnt look like its tourny ready.

any team thats soft on the perimeter is begging to get upset in the tournament. msu is that, right now.

i will say i think izzo is too good of a coach not to address this.

Why is "one and done" a stretch? If you look at The Izzoid's tourney record since he made the three consecutive FF's, it hasn't been that great; mostly "one and done" in fact.
No way should they have ben blown out like that. Indiana is on the verge of shit canning their coach, and MSU couldn't take advantage of the situation.

Maybe this team just is not that talented, in spite of the fact that many Sparties penciled them in for a final four appearance.

It all depends on whether or not Neitzel can actually LEAD come tourney time. As the preseason All-American, he needs to take a lot of the heat for the fact that this team seems to play down to competition and be inconsistent. I've ripped him in the past for his streaky shooting and bad percentage, only to have people blast me and compare his numbers to Gilbert Arenas (please), but the ultimate defense was that in spite of needing 27 shots to be (cough) "Lights Out", he was at least clutch. Well streaky boy, in a few weeks you'll need to be especially clutch and be a fucking senior if your team is going to have a chance. Otherwise, this season will be remembered as one of the most overrated MSU hoops campaigns in recent memory.

On the over rated thing, I'm always dubious about that statement. The MEDIA and the FANS get boners when they see a roster and a coach that they like. I don't recall The Izzo walking around blabbing like Dr Tre that this was going to be a final four season (if he did, then Barwis my ass).
Of course, it is still fun to watch Sparty shit themselves.
