I agree with you, but unlike Sweetest Day, we have to do Valentines Day. I tell her that she will not receive even a "Happy Sweetest Day" from me, nor will either of us acknowledge that it's even any different than any day.

V-Day, Christmas and her Birthday are the only days she gets "Special Nice MoTown." Even our anniversary is iffy... we'll celebrate that if I'm in a good mood.

I'm a dick on these boards, but offline ("irl") I'm probably the sweetest (as in nice, although I AM pretty "fresh") guy ever. I'm probably gonna shave or something (she doesn't like my goatee) because I'm a pussy.

I agree, and thankfully my wife does too. We always get the heart shaped pizza (you can get it from Papa Ramanos for 6 bucks) and cards for each other, but that's it. No fancy dinner, no presants. We have our anniversary for that.

update...Someone coming to look to buy our house Friday morn so the wife and I postponed VDay to a friday or saturday night dinner. Nothing special.
