Best coaching job ever?

Jethro34

Congrats on your shitty schedule. Have you played anyone other than Texas?

Nice Iowa game.

National journalists galore are saying this team is nowhere near as good as their record and it was a mistake to make Neitzel a preseason All-American. Yep, that's what I would want to brag about.

Best coaching job ever?

I blew that quote, btw, I believe it should have been "Best season ever for Izzo?".

Jethro34
02-02-2008, 07:53 PM
I'm pretty sure you got it right the first time. The thread title may have reflected your second effort, but the intent of the horrible thread was best ripped by your first comment.

How about this - "Whackest schedule ever for Izzo?"

D's Nuts

How about "Worst coaching job by Izzo" after this fucking debacle.

Well, actually, according to the poster known as Sparty Suckfest, tonight's game can be described as the "Best Coaching Job Ever in a Loss to Penn State after Beating Illinois".
Kudos to The Izzo!

Bradley and BYU and a couple others were pretty good.

we should kill knockout so that he doesnt infect detroitsportcity with bukdiaria, like he, bukdow, and tre suffer from.

its nice to have opposing viewpoints on here, like dsc brings, sans the spartying.

knockout is no fun at all, he's like a dumber version of bukdow with no cogency. so basically tre part 2. i bet knockout doesnt even have 2 degrees from msu.

Before I was a poster here, I was a stalker.

Knockdown was only ever here usually to back up Tre in arguments with Zip.

So I agree with diddy.

DIDDY KEEP PLAYIN PLAYA

knowing tre, he is exactly the kind of person who would creat a second account, just so that another poster would agree with him.

Jethro34

I know Tre and he absolutely despises Florida, so he wouldn't infect his location like that even if he was planning a covert op.

Timone
02-03-2008, 07:44 AM
Seriously, how can you root for Michigan State AND Florida? Does he root for both in basketball and for just Florida in football? If so, that is a Kmart Sparty right there.

Bradley and BYU and a couple others were pretty good.

Just because you beat them by less than 10 doesn't make them "pretty good." I'm going to hope this is sarcastic.

BYU is ok, not great. 17-5 in the Mountain West isn't far off from State's overrated standing. Bradley is 13-10. Wow. If you have to reach for them, that signals just how desperate you are to make excuses for your schedule.

If you hadn't played UCLA in a tournament your SOS would be even more laughable.

Come back when you've played Indiana and Wisconsin.
Man, and they talked about how the Big Ten was down in football.

Sorry, haven't been watching them since we played them. I think they were top 25 at the time.

MSU will go 2 and out in the big tourney...

they don't have enough inside...Delvon Roe will help solve that, but unfortunately not until next year...

Jethro34
02-04-2008, 07:52 PM
At which point they lose Neitzel and Naymick. Yeah, Naymick sucks, but his D is probably the most consistent inside that they have.

Sorry, I'm thinking that dropping Neitzel and Naymick for Roe and Lucious, along with everyone elses improvement will be a clear improvement.

However, I said the same about adding everybody this year.

Losing the half court players, and adding even more runners plays to the strengths of everyone but Suton, but Suton would benefit as he can shoot, and everyone will be going to the hole.

Jethro34
02-04-2008, 09:11 PM
Of course, that assumes that Lucious hasn't had as much of a dropoff as some sites claim and that Roe comes back strong from surgery. I think both of those things are probable, but I wouldn't be putting my hopes and dreams on it.

Naymicks defense is overrated, he stagnaites the offense when he's in there, not to mention he's slow and quite possibly the most awkward looking basketball player in the NCAA...

he's a liability, Izzo needs to shorten up his minutes
