Where do you think Henne, Long, Hart, Manningham, Arrington, etc. will be drafted?

I think it's safe to say that they all probably improved their stock a bit in the BIG WIN OVER FLORIDA (well, maybe not Long or Hart).

Long is top 5 IMO. Most teams need a franchise LT

Henne I would say 2nd to 3rd round (depends on combine)

Hart in the 3rd

Arrington, I don't know maybe a 2nd rounder.

Mario a 3rd?

Crable maybe 2nd round?

I can't say on the WR's because I'm not sure what the crop is like. I think Arrington imrpoved his stock the most in that game.

Long- Top Five

Manningham- Late First (if he has a good combine), probably more likely to go early-to mid 2nd round

Arrington- Late Second, to early Third Round

Hart- Mid to Late Third Round

Terrance Taylor (if he goes)- 2nd to 3rd round

Henne- 4th Round (he's got NFL size, and an NFL arm, durability could raise concerns, was projected to be a 1st rounder before season)

Crable- Late 2nd Round to Early 3rd Round

Jamar Adams- 6th round

Adam Kraus- 7th round to undrafted

Undrafted- Chris Graham, Brandent Englemon

I don;t think you can project anybody but Jake Long, and he's top 5. Depending on the team and what they need, he could go as high as #1. I have not heard ONE word other than huge praise for him. He'll be golden.

Crable: a pretty good bowl game. Is that enough to offset very undisciplined play throughout his career? Great size and speed. Again, if someone needs a linebacker, and you look at recent UM linebackers in the pros, Crable should be a high round draft pick, no later than Rd 2.

Henne: A REAL darkhorse. The bowl game showcased him at his best. He's more mobile than people give him credit for, and has a gun for an arm. I've always felt that he was held back by UM's gameplanning. But he'll need a year or two to develop. My hope for him is that he ends up in a Brady situation. An aging vet in front of him, playing out the string, he can learn under the guy, and a solid coach with a good plan. I think Henne will turn out to be a very good pro, maybe great. I like his play that much. Yes I do. Depending on team and need, he goes no later than round 2 if he has a good combine.

Mike Hart: No speed, just heart, determination, strength, and he (usually) doesn;t fumble. Fourth to fifth round, but he'll make a team.

Taylor: fourth round or later. Hasn't shown enough.

Manningham: Is this kid really an NFL receiver? His game in the pros will be based on speed, and he's fast for college, esecially the Big Ten, but baby, they's alot of fast mofo's in the NFL. They physical too. Manningham will get his ass handed to him. Is he even six feet tall? Weighs what, a buck 80? ouch. Crunch. Alligator arms. Tempermental. Likes dope. Can't see him as a first rounder. Lots of good receivers up there. He'll go late second round to a team that is already good.

Arrington: Great hands, great ability to catch the ball in traffic, and a very disciplined route runner. Possession receiver in the NFL. Size to go over the middle. Third round. First and second round draft picks who are not linemen dont run 4.6 forty's.

The big helmet (Kiper) had Manningham as the 4th best WR until Thomas knocked him out of that spot. Intersting to see whether Arrington goes higher - depends on the team probably.

IMO, none of the underclassmen have a GREAT case for why they should leave, position-wise.

Last year a bunch of guys fell from where they were projected, they still looked decent, with the exception of the top one chosen.

Arrington officially declared for the draft, btw.

Can't blame AA for coming out, he will never be able to have the type of game he had Vs. Florida if he came back next year. I think he's going to be a solid NFL WR. He reminds me of Plaxico Burress a little bit...in the sense that he's got a big frame and outstanding hands...

Arrington was always the better of the two receivers, IMO. He'll be a very good WR in the pros, probably #2. I don't think he has the speed to be a #1.

I SO agree with Motown here.
As for speed, though, two great receivers come to mind whose speed has been, well, not highly regarded: Terell Owens and Keyshawn Johnson. AA has serious hands, and is quite athletic.
My prediction for Super Mario: A much better video game. Not very good in the bigs against the Wii's and X-Boxes. A very good college receiver who has gotten a huge head. A no go in the pros. Maybe a nice career that lasts just long enough to get him vested in the pension fund. I don't respect this kid one bit.

And yet Mel has him around #30 on his big board. MM, that is.

I've argued with Mel so many times, I can't even count. In fact, that son of a bitch owes me a sawbuck because I thought Brady would be great, and win a Super Bowl before Drew Bledsoe. Who was right?

Arrington made ESPN's All-Bowl Team

The Wolverines junior broke out in a big way in a 41-35 victory over Florida in the Capital One Bowl. Arrington caught nine passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns in what was probably the finest game of his college career. He also provided the most spectacular catch of the season -- a one-handed grab around corberback Markihe Anderson late in the fourth quarter. That highlight reel play set up his 18-yard touchdown catch that put MIchigan ahead for good.
Didn't he have the behind-the-back catch also? Honestly, if he slips to the 4th round, I wouldn't mind seeing the Lions grab him and make him the next "Mike-Furrey-perfect-slot-reciever". I honestly don't think he falls that far though. I'd say with his bowl game, Arrington goes no later than the 3rd round and could possibly hit the top of the second IF he has an amazing combine.

DeSean Jackson made it official. That will likely knock AA and MM down a notch among WR's.

McShay has Long at 5 (Chiefs) and Manningham at 22 (Cowboys).

I'd guess Manningham at early R2, Arrington mid R3.

Manningham ends up being another Sydney Rice - sweet going deep but doesn't have the moves to be Santana Moss or the size to use his body as a shield like he will need to in the NFL.

Arrington will end up doing better, a Brandon Lloyd type shall we say. Needs to work on his route running, but his body control and hands are very good and he is pretty fast.

Henne wowed over everyone during Senior Bowl week and moved up on all the experts charts. NFL network had him 2nd on QBs and Todd McShay had him 3rd. Unless he gets a 6 on the Wonderlic, it looks like he'll be an early 2nd rounder.

My prediction:

Long - top 5
Manningham - 1st
Henne - 2nd
Crable - 2nd
Arrington - 3rd
Hart - 3rd
