Very nice. I had to watch it a few times to make sure he didn't travel.

I love Roy.

So many incredible young guards in the west.

Are the Blazers pretty much everyone's second favorite team this year? Considering they are fun to root for and not a direct threat to us...

The Blazers are this year's Warriors, except with a chance in hell.

I didn't like last years warriors. I don't like Baron Davis. I don't really know why, I just don't like him.

not to pull a "i liked them before they were famous" card, but ive been on the blazer wagon since they drafted lamarcus aldridge, who i liked going back to texas.

For a second I thought the Pistons traded for him.

Point me in the direction of rules so I know what is "thread worthy" and what isnt... This video was posted (as a thread on its own) in three other boards I visit...

just my opinion never stated it to be fact. It wasnt an all time amazing move imho which if it was i'd see it personally as thread worthy. dont get so damn sensitive. If i made the rules, then you could ask me about them as if i cared. Otherwise enjoy the holidays.

The crazy thing about the Blazers is they are amongst the best turn arounds in NBA history (record wise) the year after getting the #1 pick...and the #1 pick isn't even playing.

Thread worthy? I would not have seen this if it weren't for this thread, and I enjoyed the move. Sorry for the clutter that this thread has caused in your daily WTF posting.

Same here. I was putting the package together in my head as I excitedly clicked it.

That is the real interesting part with these Blazers...

their GM did an amazing job last year of cleaning house and simultaneously infusing a great deal of talented, good charachter players. keep in mind, they traded away zach randolph this summer, when he had an a fantastic individual season last year.

cant really fault joe, because i dont think he was leaving the northwest, but alot of that credit goes to nate M. he cost $$, but he really has established himself as one of the best coaches for a young team inthe league. actually, hes probably the best at that role.

the blazers gm was on tv the other day and he said they were positioned to be dominant for the next 10 years. lots of ifs in there, but hes probably right.

Sorry everyone cares enough to make a big deal out of it. Because they care more than I do. Also sorry that its taken as a "high horse" statement, though i dont remember saying to shut the thread down. Next time i'll remember that a conflicting opinion is taboo in here. [smilie=heatsmiley2:

Also sorry to scott skiles about getting fired. :(

The only guy that was a problem for them that has yet to be moved is Darius Miles, and I've barely heard his name this year.

I've heard it, but only in sentences like "now if they'd just get rid of Darius Miles". I'm guessing he hasn't even played a game yet. Injured?

Beating Seattle on Christmas Day means 11 consecutive victories and the team's first winning month in the previous 18. As of right now, they'd secure the eighth spot in the West but they'll likely peter out at some point and finish within a couple games either way of .500.

Brandon Roy is the No. 1 Stud and everyone is focusing on him, but they've won using essentially a different guy stepping up every week. Even Raef fucking LaFrentz keyed a Blazers win. No one would probably care as much if Portland was winning games in another way than they are right now.

Miles participated in practice scrimmages recently but count him out until the All-Star Break at the very least. In the meantime, Portland's next game is against Minnesota in a few days. If they win, don't call it an upset.
