That was a pretty exciting game last night. I was flipping here and there but watched most of the 4th.

I wonder how the QB on Navy was able to have enough room on his scantron to write his name when he took the ACT's...

Congrats to Florida Atlantic, first every bowl win...

Too bad nobody cares.

Yeah I didn't even know a game was on. Now when do they schedule Michigan?

I found this interesting:

Before this season, Young was the only member of college football's 3,000-1,000 club. While leading Texas to the 2005 BCS title, he finished the season with 3,036 yards passing and 1,050 yards rushing. LeFevour became the second member earlier in this month, reaching 1,000 yards rushing in Central Michigan's 35-10 victory over Miami in the Mid-American Conference title game. He now has 3,360 yards passing, including 23 touchdowns, and 1,008 yards rushing with 17 touchdowns.
Tebow could join the group by rushing for 162 yards against Michigan in the Capital One Bowl.
As LeFevour prepares to play against Purdue in Wednesday's Motor City Bowl, he's not about to rank himself on the same level as Young and Tebow.
"It's a great honor to even be mentioned with Vince, but this isn't something I did by myself," he said. "This is an achievement for our whole offense. If they don't do their jobs, I'm not going to get anything at all."

Texas is really showing these West Coast sissies how Big Boys play football.

I'm trying to think if there is a scenario where there could be a split national championship.

What if a two loss LSU team beats OSU in a really ugly, turnover prone game, maybe something like 12-10.

Then undefeated Hawaii goes out and blows away red hot #4 Georgia.

Would the voters have the motivation to vote for Hawaii over LSU?

Won't happen, but it's fun to think about.

I heard Oklahoma tried to change their matchup so they could play Va Tech so they could have a shot at splitting the Nat'l Title, but the BCS committee wouldn't revise the matchups...

Kevin Smith of UCF is 181 yards away from breaking Barry's record.

Oregon absolutely annihilated SOuth Florida in the Sun Bowl, 56-21. And to think, this was the same offense that was Michigan in the Ohio State game bad without Dennis Dixon.

USC receiver had a nice front flip into the endzone in the rose bowl. If I was that Illinois player standing by him, I'd have DRILLED him.

I watched most of it. I was pulling for WVU (even though I picked OU) for two reasons:

1) I wanted Stewart to look good so they'd hire him and not Butch from CMU (and they did hire Stewart)

2) I wanted to see the 3-3-5 excell against a big physical team to see how it would fair against the traditional big ten power teams. It faired well, as they blitzed from many different angles and kept OU's QB on the run a lot.

When did they announce Stewart was HC?? Was it at the post game presser?

Good for him too, I saw his pre-game interviews, and he seems like a great guy.

I think so. I read it this morning on yahoo, but I think it said it was right after the game.

I hope this works out for Stewart and WVU. Sometimes you get caught up in the moment, and hire the nice guy who just won a big Fiesta Bowl against Oklahoma.
But the staff Rodriguez put together will lose three of the biggest parts (no Calvin Magee pun intended). The OC, DC, the S&C guy, and their Dbacks and recruiting coordinator. Can Stewart rebuild that staff and continue to recruit like Rodriguez?
In case anyone hasn't noticed, that's three straight 11 win seasons in Morgantown.
i think it bodes well for UM. Very well.

If Casteel ends up staying at WV, I wonder if theirs a chance we could land Tenuta to run the defense...

Although I've heard he will take Pelini's job at LSU.

International Bowl (or whatever the fuck it's called): Brady Hoax/Ball State vs. Greg Schiano/Rutgers. Being played in Toronto.

I don't even know where the fuck Toronto is. Hell, I don't even know where Canada is!
