This is our last chance to stop the 8 game skid (since we get blasted in GB next week).

Wilfredo Ledezma

Well, the game is winnable, the Lions better thank God they won't have to face LJ...

still, I'm going to the game, so I just hope they give a good fight...

There are also a half dozen 6-8 teams, so the next two games have huge draft implications. Judging by the previous years, the Lions will win both meaningless games. I hope they lose to KC and win in GB (ending that streak).

Swat this shit.

The Chiefs are about the only team that the Lions could be favored by 5 against.

Wow, thats a teaser.

Although I would rather have Jon Kitna on my team than a Damon Huard/Brodie Croyle combo...

Eddie Drummond and Jon McGraw return to Ford Field!!!

The Chiefs are going to win. GW FG.

as much as im rooting for the 8gamer, its just too likely that the lions win this game in the most extraordinarilly crappy way possible. then mitch album can write about how its an early christmas gift from the lions again.

trying to think of the real world equivalent to this.

someone giving you a 2 year subscription to "martha stewart living" and only paying for the first month? i think thats about as close as it gets.

Timone

If this was a road game in KC the Chiefs would win 45-7.

Is it sad that I WANT us to lose out? We might as well get the best draft pick we can at this point.

The NFL Draft: As close to a Superbowl as a Lions fan can get.

From Bill Simmons:

LIONS (-5) over Chiefs
You know the Chiefs have quit on the season when their GM decides he's better off walking around with a bodyguard for his own safety. And since the Lions will be fired up with Jesus' birthday coming up and all, I'm making this one of my two "Locks of the Holiday Weekend."

yawn

I can't think of too many things less interesting right now than Lions football

I am praying that the Chiefs blow the doors of the LOLns

Apparently CBS decided it was a good idea to show the Cleveland-Cinci game on BOTH stations that I get here in Toledo, which would be the Toledo station AND the Detroit station. WTF!

I'll take the verbal abuse from fans who say I'm not a fan for wanting the Lions to lose too. Go Chiefs. Then again, as long as Millen is drafting does it really matter what pick we get.

I fucking hate the LOLns and will always hate the LOLns until Ford dies/retires and Millen is fucking gone. I also hate that they play in a fucking dome!

DrRay11

Matt Millen needs to go somewhere to hide from the thousands of Lions fans who want to murder him.... And resign in the process.

No, I don't even care what the score is. We're not winning shit until he's gone.

The vaunted black and blue division....in their cozy domes. Travesty!

The Bears and GB are still outside, I guess.

I'm begining to think Marinelli doesn't have it. How can a team go 6-2 then 0-6? I can see a slump but this was ridiculous.

Jones is injured again.

Looks bad.

Zekyl
12-23-2007, 02:20 PM
I was hoping when they built Ford Field that it'd have a retractable roof, and that we'd keep it open for all games because that's how football should be played!

Tahoe
12-23-2007, 02:22 PM
If he isn't injured really bad, he's lucky. That was a close one.

TJ Duckett is having a decent year.

Zekyl
12-23-2007, 02:50 PM
Which would explain why we dont use him more right?

Tahoe
12-23-2007, 02:53 PM
They threw up a stat that the Lions passed more than any other team in the NFL, iirc.

And, yes, I really am still watching.

Go Pistons!

a loss would be sweet, i just know we're gonna pull a win out though.

The Chiefs are going to win. GW FG.

I'm really liking this prediction right now.

Yeah, going to be one of my more accurate predictions.

Timone
12-23-2007, 03:40 PM

Tahoe

The Lions are a bunch of douche bags

Glenn
12-23-2007, 04:32 PM
They should have carried Marinelli off the field on their shoulders for getting the 5 points that Vegas predicted.

Saved me 350 alpacas.

Go Lions!

Tahoe
12-23-2007, 05:33 PM
Ford SERIOUSLY needs to look at bringing Cowher...and the other thing that I'm getting tired of writing after 5 years?

Timone
12-23-2007, 05:36 PM
Isiah Thomas for Lions coach!

Zekyl
12-24-2007, 10:54 AM
And GM? He's proven to be a stud GM in the NBA
