Glenn 12-19-2007, 03:53 PM WE NEED BUKDOW
Glenn 12-20-2007, 12:52 PM Take some advice from the Pistons and the Shock
http://www.nba.com/pistons/news/bowlpicks07.html
or not
Rip and JMax are quite the homers there.
WTFchris 12-20-2007, 01:36 PM I like how they include the chick from Texas Tech and don't use that bowl game. Haha.
Wizzle 12-20-2007, 04:07 PM I'm in......that confidence stuff throws me off though
Wilfredo Ledezma 12-21-2007, 08:49 AM damnit, I put 1 confidence point on the Naval Academy, and they lose to the mormons...
WTFchris 12-21-2007, 10:59 AM Can we quit now while I'm ahead?
0 - 1. Woohoo. I damn near switched that game about an hour before it started too.
Wilfredo Ledezma 12-22-2007, 11:35 AM I should get a cogent award for being the only one to pick Florida Atlantic...
WTFchris 12-24-2007, 09:41 AM I've got the most right so far at least (4 of 6)
Glenn 12-27-2007, 02:01 PM Re: scoring errors
I should be 4 out of 7 for 63 points.
It's correct when I look at the "my picks" page, but wrong in the standings.
Can you guys check yours to see if yours are wrong too?
Yeah doesn't look like it updated yet.

mine gave me an error when I clicked on the league, saying I was not part of that group. They must be having some troubles.
EDIT- It looks fine now.
Artermis 12-28-2007, 01:30 PM Ownage.
WTFchris 12-28-2007, 01:39 PM Everyone has pretty similar potential points still, even though the current points my differ a lot. We're all pretty much in the 480-500 point range as far as what we can still get.
Glenn 12-28-2007, 02:15 PM Yeah, this thing will be hard to judge whilst in progress, methinks.
WTFchris 12-28-2007, 03:50 PM The only way IMO is to go by the potential points. It's like the March madness tourney. You might get all but one pick right in the first round, but your championship team is the wrong pick. So while you're leading after the first weekend you also lost a huge chunk of your potential points.
Fuck the analysts for convincing me to go with ASU less than an hour before game time.
Artermis 12-28-2007, 05:42 PM I look at it this way. I am scoring huge points getting my higher point games out of the way.
I dont have to sweat them as much now. While those who still have those higher point totals still got to sweat it somewhat.
Thus my ownage comment so far.
Glenn 12-31-2007, 03:17 PM Chris, that is an awful lot of points on South Florida.
WTFchris 12-31-2007, 03:21 PM Chris, that is an awful lot of points on South Florida.
The Ducks fell apart without Dixon. Hopefully they fall apart again by the end of this game.
WTFchris 12-31-2007, 03:30 PM Wow, USF goes for 2 and makes it in the first half to tie it.
Glenn 01-01-2008, 05:59 AM WHO OWNS WHO?
17 OF 21 SO FAR, BITCHES
WTFchris 01-02-2008, 09:57 AM I suck at this. My picking magic was exausted on the two regular season ones. I actually rooted for the Vols yesterday because I swear I picked them. Oh well.

I've had about five games where I thought I picked one team, rooted for them only for them to lose, then check later and realize I picked right.
Wizzle 01-02-2008, 04:53 PM it's good to be in first....if only for one day to be able to tell myself, "man, you're the greatest"
Wilfredo Ledezma 01-04-2008, 01:33 PM it's good to be in first....if only for one day to be able to tell myself, "man, you're the greatest"
That's a Ron Gardenhire quote. After the Tigs gave up 1st place on the last day of the season in '06
Glenn 01-06-2008, 04:59 AM We haven't heard too much out of Art lately about this.
I'm sure 14 of 30 has nothing to do with that, lol.
Glenn 01-07-2008, 01:45 PM Who's handle is "RichRod"?
Wizzle 01-07-2008, 02:07 PM That would be me, and this thing is in the bag.
I want 10,000 bonus alpacas for this
Glenn 01-07-2008, 02:07 PM So who ya got tonight?
Wizzle 01-07-2008, 02:08 PM hahahahaaaaa.....yeah right
WTFchris 01-07-2008, 02:10 PM That would be me, and this thing is in the bag.

You know, I was staying close and I had Tulsa and then switched it to try and catch up somehow. Oops.
Timone 01-07-2008, 02:12 PM So who ya got tonight?
Cheap. Very cheap, Glenn.
Glenn 01-07-2008, 02:20 PM I think I know what I have to do.
Like my friend Kenny Smith once told me, sometimes you have to put gasoline in the car to make it go, and the car is kind of like the national championship game and the gasoline is like Wizzle, in this example.
Wizzle 01-07-2008, 02:23 PM So I have to go into the national championship game?
Kenny's wisdom is beyond compare.
Glenn 01-08-2008, 10:04 AM Congrats, Wizzle.
It's like drinking milk right from the jug, where the jug represents the WTFDetroit College Pickem contest championship cup, in this example.
MoTown 01-08-2008, 10:06 AM You're on a roll with awful analogies.
Props.
