I've been planning a WTF Birthday party for him for months now. And you ruined it. I want everyone to forget this thread happened so we can still make it a surprise birthday party.

Maybe all of us here should pitch in a couple of bucks and buy LeBron a point guard...he hasn't had one of those since high school...

He had the chance to be one, he decided his amazing passing skills were useless and decided to become one of those me-first dribble out the clock and jack up a shitty shot guys (heard that one straight from some of my Cavs fan friends). He actually did that in a game two nights ago and I made a comment and they all looked at me and said "that's pretty much normal"

I watched LeBron a few times in high school, and let me tell you, he was a joy to watch. He had no problem using his amazing vision to share the rock with all of his teammates. He did that in the pros in the beginning, but then he was criticized for needing to take control of the game more (that meaning the evil dribble iso). So, he no longer really shares the ball the same way.

And its a shame. I really liked him at first. I love watching pass-first point guards and guys that pass well. I'd rather see a sick pass than a sick iso move.

I've never liked LeBron. Even before the ECF. Tim Duncan too.

But I want to wish him an early Happy Birthday! :)

I've always liked LeBron, I don't like the fact that Flip Saunders doesn't know how to find ways for his players to defend him, I like that he changed his contract to 3 years rather than 5 years a couple years ago, so he can get out of the Central Divsion sooner...

I thought it was so he could get a bigger NBA payday sooner, with "get out of the Central Division" as a happy side-effect.

yep, corrupted from being magic into being jordan. its slowly happening.

I'd rather see the next Magic. That's why I actually liked him when he came into the league. I thought maybe kids growing up would start to idolize a superstar who shares the ball.

i liked his game back then too. He's slowly becoming more and more iso oriented though. Mainly because wade might be dead by 29 if he keeps flopping to the floor killing himself like he has lately.
