View Full Version : Just a reminder Timone 12-16-2007, 12:55 PM LeBron Raymone James will be turning only 23 years of age in 2 weeks. Sticky this shit. Zekyl 12-16-2007, 01:00 PM No way, you mean right now he's just 22? Uncle Mxy 12-16-2007, 01:40 PM WTFDetroit: Where tomorrow happens MoTown 12-16-2007, 09:35 PM Damnit Mailman. I've been planning a WTF Birthday party for him for months now. And you ruined it. I want everyone to forget this thread happened so we can still make it a surprise birthday party. Wilfredo Ledezma 12-16-2007, 09:47 PM Maybe all of us here should pitch in a couple of bucks and buy LeBron a point guard...he hasn't had one of those since high school... Zekyl 12-16-2007, 09:55 PM He had the chance to be one, he decided his amazing passing skills were useless and decided to become one of those me-first dribble out the clock and jack up a shitty shot guys (heard that one straight from some of my Cavs fan friends). He actually did that in a game two nights ago and I made a comment and they all looked at me and said "that's pretty much normal" DrRay11 12-16-2007, 10:02 PM He had the chance to be one, he decided his amazing passing skills were useless and decided to become one of those me-first dribble out the clock and jack up a shitty shot guys (heard that one straight from some of my Cavs fan friends). He actually did that in a game two nights ago and I made a comment and they all looked at me and said "that's pretty much normal" I watched LeBron a few times in high school, and let me tell you, he was a joy to watch. He had no problem using his amazing vision to share the rock with all of his teammates. He did that in the pros in the beginning, but then he was criticized for needing to take control of the game more (that meaning the evil dribble iso). So, he no longer really shares the ball the same way. Zekyl 12-16-2007, 10:13 PM And its a shame. I really liked him at first. I love watching pass-first point guards and guys that pass well. I'd rather see a sick pass than a sick iso move. Timone 12-16-2007, 10:20 PM I've never liked LeBron. Even before the ECF. Tim Duncan too. But I want to wish him an early Happy Birthday! :) Wilfredo Ledezma 12-16-2007, 10:41 PM I've always liked LeBron, I don't like the fact that Flip Saunders doesn't know how to find ways for his players to defend him, I like that he changed his contract to 3 years rather than 5 years a couple years ago, so he can get out of the Central Divsion sooner... Uncle Mxy 12-16-2007, 11:03 PM I've always liked LeBron, I don't like the fact that Flip Saunders doesn't know how to find ways for his players to defend him, I like that he changed his contract to 3 years rather than 5 years a couple years ago, so he can get out of the Central Divsion sooner... I thought it was so he could get a bigger NBA payday sooner, with "get out of the Central Division" as a happy side-effect. It's notable that the Cavs franchise has climbed up significantly in value over the past year, if I believe Forbes. Wilfredo Ledezma 12-16-2007, 11:29 PM Dan Gilbert is counting down the days til' Bill Davidson desides to sell the team... Black Dynamite 12-17-2007, 09:15 PM I watched LeBron a few times in high school, and let me tell you, he was a joy to watch. He had no problem using his amazing vision to share the rock with all of his teammates. He did that in the pros in the beginning, but then he was criticized for needing to take control of the game more (that meaning the evil dribble iso). So, he no longer really shares the ball the same way. yep, corrupted from being magic into being jordan. its slowly happening. Zekyl 12-17-2007, 09:30 PM I'd rather see the next Magic. That's why I actually liked him when he came into the league. I thought maybe kids growing up would start to idolize a superstar who shares the ball. Black Dynamite 12-18-2007, 12:08 AM i liked his game back then too. He's slowly becoming more and more iso oriented though. Mainly because wade might be dead by 29 if he keeps flopping to the floor killing himself like he has lately. And they gotta pressure someone to take over for him. Stop those damn pistons from boring the rest of america. :emo kid: [smilie=heatsmiley2: Timone 12-18-2007, 12:41 AM I can't believe you guys like LeBron. :emo kid: Big Swami 12-18-2007, 08:39 AM I got your back Mailman. No matter what happens, every time they show that little clip of him in last year's ECF doing his little flexing thing and trying to tell Gooden "go strong!" I literally have to restrain myself from puking. Cross 12-18-2007, 10:28 AM Better than boobie acting like he's fucking Michael Jordan Zekyl 12-18-2007, 11:09 AM Oh, I hate him now. Just his rookie year I thought there was hope for him. I was soon proven wrong. Completely wrong. Even though he's only 22 Timone 12-27-2007, 11:30 PM 3 more dayz MoTown 12-28-2007, 10:17 AM 2 more - you better be here at midnight Saturday night, Mailman. Being 23 just doesn't sound as good. I will respect him less in 2 days. On the Flip side, he will be the same age as Jordan's number. OMG it's DESTINY! I WILL BE A WITNESS! Timone 12-28-2007, 10:18 AM I'll be here. I will be in the CHAT. Timone 12-28-2007, 10:22 AM Your favorite LeBron moment? MoTown 12-28-2007, 10:22 AM Glenn - can we dedicate the entire front page to this incredible occation? MoTown 12-28-2007, 10:23 AM My favorite LeBron moment was when he dunked and then searched the court for the closest camera so he could wink or look tough in it. Oh wait that's every time he dunks? Well I just love all of LeBron's moments then. He's so cool. Timone 12-28-2007, 10:26 AM Game 5. Enough said. Also, when he helped Zach Miner get his kitty out of the tree. Zekyl 12-28-2007, 06:45 PM Zach didn't really need the help, he was just trying to make LeBron look good. He's a team player like that. Timone 12-30-2007, 12:30 AM It happened. Zekyl 12-30-2007, 10:35 AM Were you a witness? DETAILS! Pics or it didn't happen. Glenn 12-30-2007, 10:38 AM It happened. Glenn 01-16-2008, 02:53 PM LEBRON JAMES SCORED MORE THAN DOUBLE HIS AGE LAST NIGHT!! Timone 01-16-2008, 02:54 PM LEBRON JAMES IS IN A 65 MILE PER HOUR ZONE AND HE'S DOING 101. OH MY GOOD--GOODNESS GRACIOUS! OF ALL THE DRAMATIC THINGS I'VE EVER SEEN!! |
