When I got to go to an event to meet some of the Pistons, he was very nice and surprisingly knowlegeable about hoops. I hoped that he would have worked out here but it just wasn't meant to be. In watching him play, he appears to have all of the fundamentals down but just always seems just a little slow to react.

He was the only true center Detroit had on its roster, and he wasn't really bad. Pistons just didn't have a use for him. Someone else is going to use him in a way that makes him effective, I'm sure.

In the face of zero competition for the spot, he stone-hands and foul-machined his way out of the starting center job on two very good teams. Goodbye to Nazr and farewell to the only really bad contract on the piston roster.

I remember in the ECF last year, in Game 6, Nazr played the last couple minutes of the 2nd quarter, he missed an easy put back, than fouled Daniel Gibson on a 3 point shot...

He was Joe Dumars's worst purchase...

I liked him as an off the bench guy that could muscle down low when we needed, but not someone making that much money over that many years.
