Last night I got bored and decided to learn about making maps. After about an hour I got the basics down and made a really stupid map that is technically playable. I'm working on a halfway worthy map now. Anybody into mapping or am I alone on here?

sounds interesting. but can't say that i can draw up anything worth a damn if i tried.

I wonder if that option will be on the PS3 version.

I've always dreamed of basing a UT map off of the structure of the Guggenheim Museum (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solomon_R._Guggenheim_Museum) in Manhattan.

It is. You design on the PC then use some kind of transfer program to put the maps on a disk and put them on your PS3. Sounds pretty damn cool, when I get a PS3 I will look into it for sure.

There is an old Quake level kind of like that. As for the PS3 I was wondering about that too. I would assume people on all next gens can play made maps. When I make something I'm proud of I'll post a link. Code V... you don't have to draw anything otherwise I couldn't do it. In the simplest terms... you define the size of a room and put premade crap in it.

I'll be waiting for those to be posted. I've been getting back into computer gaming a lot more lately. Mostly UT stuff and Counter-Strike stuff
