I don't think even the biggest Osgood slappy would have believed that after all this time he'd step it up this big and out play Hasek (even if Hasek isn't playing great due to injury and the fact that he's older than time itself).

Ozzie should continue to thrive as long as nobody shoots on him from the blue line.

I've always ALWAYS been a huge Osgood fan, and I never saw him being this great again. I liked the idea of having him as the starter with Howard as the backup coming into the season if we hadn't brough Hasek back, but only because Howard would slowly gain experience and eventually take over the spot and I felt Osgood was good enough to hold down the fort until he got back. I love seeing him starting over Dom.

^maybe Hasek will pull his groin again and Howard will get some more chances.

BTW, Ozzie is on my fantasy team and he's putting up great numbers for me of course. It makes up for the crappy start by Brodeur (he was 5-9 at one point but is now 10-10 and only allowed 6 goals his last 5 starts I think).

How old is Brodeur now? he's been around as long as I can remember.

I think mid to late thirties (probably about the same age as Ozzie). I know he was good with the devils in the early 90's, but I don't remember him beyond that.
