Did anyone watch it?

I assume that it was terrible, but I'm just checking.

Caliendo was everywhere the past few days promoting that shit.

I was gonna watch it, I missed it because I fell asleep. I like Frank. But yeah, they ran previews for his show too fucking much. The Dane Cook "There's Only One October" and Frank TV commercials made me hate baseball.

I watched it. There were a couple parts that were funny but for the most part I found it stupid. I really like Frank, but the concept is really bad. Basically it's like Saturday night live, except that he plays every character. So, while at first the impressions are funny, once the novelty of that wears off then I'm not sure what's left. You basically have Eddie Murphy movies without a plot. I can't see this show doing well at all, which is too bad because I think he's pretty funny otherwise.

i thought it was horrible, I cant believe they are going to continue with him playing every character, madden was already getting old

Yup. And it doesn't take long.

BTW, LeBretard pronounced him the "funniest man in the world" yesterday on PTI. So, that should tell you he is the unfunniest man in the world, eclipsing the family who harrassed that girl to death.

I saw him on Mike & Mike doing Barkley and I cracked up. Don't know about him being the funniest man in the world, I think that honor goes to me.

To me, he's the kind of guy you see for the first time and say, "Damn, that guy's really talented." Then five minutes later, you realize you've been bored for the past four minutes.

I think his new impressions are funny (like the Barkley one), but after that the novelty just wears off. The big problem is content. He does the same things with Madden. If he did off the wall stuff like the sweat line contests he'd do, or his own gay per view, or stuff like that it could be really funny. He's too predictable in the actual content.

He's one of those guys to me who is better as part of the supporting cast of a sitcom than he is the star of his own show.

It's like chappeles show only the skits suck.

Chappelle's Show was a lot of hit or miss, but it appears Frank TV is mostly miss.

Chappelle's lame skits were pretty forgettable, but the good ones go down in history as being some of the funniest shit ever. A guy who does silly voices, however...

He is really good at impressions, his Barkley is hilarious... but the writing on the show sucks. I chuckled a couple times then watched people chase tornados.

He is good at the impressions, I watched and laughed quite a bit, but I agree... His stuff will only last for so long. Needs to do fresh skits, not just mock the people he is impersonating.

The Madden was already getting old by the end of the episode.

The Barkley was not all that great after the first bit... He just kept saying "That's turrible," or "That's crezzy."

The show has potential, but we'll see where the writers can take it. Also agree he needs to stop being every character.

That's pretty much all Barkley says.

I was referring to when he was sitting with Barkley on TNT, either between games or during halftime not sure. Don't know if they showed that on the show.
