Definitely not first round, but drafted nonetheless. What do you think? Too high, too low, just right? How do you like your porridge, Zippy? Wait, forget I asked that.

Mario Mannigham #25, blasphemy. Good-bye Devin Thomas we hardly knew you.

Um, I hope the Lions aren't sitting at that 25 spot currently...

I'd say a little high. I think Hart is 3rd round material, maybe 4th. But I'm not an NFL GM.

No MoTown, you think Hart is a 6th rounder.

Hell no... He's easily a 1st day pick...for what he lacks (size, breakaway speed) he makes up for in other parts of his game (vision, ball security, toughness)

somebody will use a 2nd or 3rd rd pick on him...and your in the minority if you think otherwise...

If a piece of scum like Chris Henry out of Arizona or Brandon Jackson out of Nebraska, 2 guys who weren't even starters at their schools, can be 1st day picks, I'd have to think Mike Hart would be...

Toughness?! Toughness?! That little turd is hurt every game. He doesn`t play through it, he limps off. He couldn`t even muster two testicles for the OSU game.

yes, joel, toughness. i would have guessed a 40 year old who picks fights with complete strangers at bars due to the school they cheer for would know a thing about toughness, unless your not telling us the whole story

Its not opinion, its the truth. That little wuss spent more time on the bike than on the field. A RB in the NFL is hurt all the time, every Sunday. If little Mouth Hart can`t play with a boo-boo on his ankle in a game against his hated rival, in which it is his coach`s last game, a rival he is 0-4 against, a game for the Rose Bowl, then he either has zero toughness or zero courage. Probably a combination of the two.

Let me set you straight too, junior. My friend and I didn`t start anything. After the Wal-Mart Wolverines lost, they started in on ripping MSU. My friend and I are both alumni and we quickly put the community college student and his contract working friend in their place. Ya see, b-diddy, in the real world, with real people, if you are an idiot and run your mouth, you get served. The WMWs thought they could run off at the mouth, they were quickly shown otherwise and they slunk away.

My goal for the Lions first round this year (since we don't know where they'll end up this is hard)...

the best MLB in the draft (usually those for mid first round), an elite safety hitter (like Landry was/is), a franchise OT (won't be the best OT there, but there are usually a few solid OT's in every draft). If those are not available a solid CB, another OLB (bailey isn't the solution IMO), or an elite TE is the last resort IMO.

We need OG as well, but you can find good ones in the 2nd and 3rd rounds there.

You've officially overused "Mouth Hart"...

his performance in the Ohio St game this year has nothing to do with him getting drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round...

again if you think he's not a 1st day pick, your in the minority...so keep convincing yourself otherwise...

It appears I am not in the minority since Rivals has him as the #51 NFL prospect. Anyway, I don`t give a damn if I am in the minority, the kid is a punk and a sissy.

^I'm not sure what Hart's 40 time will be (he doesn't have good top end speed, but maybe his 40 time will be ok)...but Kenny Irons is about the same size as him (an inch taller, but similar frame) and he was a 2nd round pick. They both gained 1200 yards their final year, and we all know how banged up Hart has been.

If you don't think someone will spend a 2nd or 3rd rounder on him I think you're in for a surprise.

I don't think he'll ever be a feature back, but there is a place for him as a 3rd down back. Especially on teams that have more of a bruiser RB that isn't a great pass blocker.

Why wouldn't the number 51 prospect be drafted on the first day (93 picks)?
