Here is a comparison of Michigan's record under Lloyd Carr compared to other college football teams.
This is limited research so far, and will be updated. I chose Michigan and fifteen other schools, and there are for now some glaring ommissions, but bear with me. This is just to get an idea of how Lloyd stacks up in different areas. The first post is simply a compilation of overall records and Win pct.
**Results are unnofficial, the result of my patented Zip Goshboots Quick Addition Method. Source: stassen.com
***Percentages are rounded to nearest one hundredth.
Records are from Lloyd's first year through the end of LAST year. (1995-2006)

There you have it. We can update it with conference titles, NC's, etc, and also include some teams that aren't here: VaTech, Boinke State, etc.
That's just a little look into what Lloyd has done compared to what I would consider some of the All Time top teams, the ones that come to mind first when you say Big Time College Football
