Tahoe 11-16-2007, 08:06 PM Injuries vs Giants
Scott out, so more Illegal procedure from our left end...forgot the guys name right now.
White...doubtful. This is the biggest injury we have imo.
Kitna ... Will play.
Jones and Bryant are expected to play.
WTFchris 11-16-2007, 08:33 PM ^you mean RT, and that's George Foster.
Tahoe 11-16-2007, 08:38 PM correctamundo
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-17-2007, 12:41 PM At least Fernando Bryant will play, hopefully Dewayne White will be back for the GB game, he's by far our best pass rusher...
Tahoe 11-17-2007, 01:50 PM Lions win this game
Glenn 11-17-2007, 02:44 PM I like the G-Men here.
Timone 11-17-2007, 03:35 PM I'm with the Giants here, also.
Timone 11-17-2007, 03:47 PM Umenyiora (sp?) for 3 sacks and Burress for 100+ and 2 TDs.
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-17-2007, 08:21 PM Umenyiora (sp?) for 3 sacks and Burress for 100+ and 2 TDs.
Plax has a bum ankle...
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-17-2007, 08:23 PM I like the Lions, Eli Manning isn't good enough to pick apart a defense, even one as mediocre as Detroit's, hopefully the front four can pressure him into making bad throws, only 2 WR's and Shockey have double digit receptions so it's not like Eli spreads the love around...
Lions 24
Giants 21
Tahoe 11-17-2007, 08:28 PM If our O Line can protect 'TMM' than he should be able to pass on their dbs.
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-17-2007, 10:54 PM RW McQuarters comin' back to Ford Field...
think anybody will remember he was a Lion? prob not
Timone 11-18-2007, 01:02 AM Plax has a bum ankle...
It will be a courageous Dwyane Wade-esque performance.
Zip Goshboots 11-18-2007, 10:54 AM Giants 46
Lions 21
Timone 11-18-2007, 11:22 AM If our O Line can protect 'TMM' than he should be able to pass on their dbs.
Dude, I know. I need all the help I can get.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 11:25 AM You are WTF's Miracle Man, but Kitna is the Lions Miracle Man.
The closer this game gets the more I think we are going to win this thing going away.
Timone 11-18-2007, 11:30 AM I think they should release everyone on the offensive line and let Jesus protect Kitna.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 11:32 AM Jesus is a Lions fan
Timone 11-18-2007, 11:35 AM Tahoe, your favorite movie, Casper, is on.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 11:36 AM I'm watching Pat Robertson on one TV and Jerry Falwell reruns on the other. It is sunday morning.
Timone 11-18-2007, 11:42 AM Jerry Falwell does shows from Hell now?
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 11:46 AM They're the shows he did whilst on the earth, in earthly form and shit. They are still pertinent today.
Yo, though I walk through the fear of evil, the shadow of death doesn't scare me.
Timone 11-18-2007, 11:51 AM Tell me you only watch those nujobs for the unintentional hilarity.
Either way, Johnny Knoxville, Pat Robertson, and Jerry Falwell...interesting.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 11:55 AM Seriously, I wouldn't know where to find one of those shows if I had to. My bud does a great Televangilist. He even took the curse off of the Lions last year, but it didn't work...at least it didn't have an immediate impact.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 12:13 PM When I was in Michigan, the hotel had religious shows on all the time. It was hard to avoid them.
Ok back to the game...45 mins
Timone 11-18-2007, 12:15 PM Don't they even put white televangelists on BET and shit?
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 12:18 PM The only show I watch on BET is Date from Hell. funny shit.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 12:48 PM This is the week the Lions prove all the wagerers and h8ers wrong. I think the line moved 3 points against us again, but not over a hard number this week.
They bounce back from the disapointing loss on the road in AZ with a strong performance from the offense, defense and coaches.
Today is the day that folks find out we are for real.
Go Lions
Timone 11-18-2007, 12:58 PM "We"?
Timone 11-18-2007, 12:59 PM Tahoe, what's worse than being a Ravens fan AND a Wolverines fan at the same time? :emo kid:
Timone 11-18-2007, 01:02 PM What happened to Calhoun's shitty ass?
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:13 PM Tahoe, what's worse than being a Ravens fan AND a Wolverines fan at the same time? :emo kid:
Being a closet Lions fan. Come out of the closet, you know you love you some Lions
Timone 11-18-2007, 01:13 PM Reuben Droughns: former Lion? When did he play here?
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:14 PM Langston Moore
Timone 11-18-2007, 01:14 PM Being a closet Lions fan. Come out of the closet, you know you love you some Lions
Well, I AM a Leo.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:14 PM I think we drafted him out of Oregon
Timone 11-18-2007, 01:15 PM Well, those words really don't bring up pleasant memories...
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:18 PM Millen was a beast as a LB, but a dipshit at drafting
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:19 PM Martz is starting to look like Charlie Weis
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:20 PM Foster can't block for shit
Timone 11-18-2007, 01:20 PM Millen has like 4 rings anyway, there's no need to go out and try to get another!
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:21 PM YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Timone 11-18-2007, 01:21 PM What a nice throw thurr.
Timone 11-18-2007, 01:22 PM Field day.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:22 PM I'm telling ya, tmm is going to pick their dbs apart if we give him time.
Timone 11-18-2007, 01:22 PM UGH!!!
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:22 PM SOMBITCH
Timone 11-18-2007, 01:22 PM Wow...interesting call.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:22 PM YES! Great fucking call!
Timone 11-18-2007, 01:24 PM Roy with the near Lynn Swann grab there.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:24 PM Pack up 7-0. They better have their fun and games today cuz Thursday its gonna be ugly for them.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:25 PM He tipped that shit up and almost grabbed it.
Timone 11-18-2007, 01:26 PM CJ would've gotten that.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:29 PM Oh you no good piece of shit
Manning is going to piss us off
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:30 PM Jacobs is a handful
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:30 PM 3616 3668
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:31 PM I mean 3617
Timone 11-18-2007, 01:31 PM Bend, don't break.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:32 PM You go girl
Timone 11-18-2007, 01:33 PM Tahoe:
http://www.abc.net.au/tropic/stories/Talk_to_th_m1190886.jpg
Talk to the hand.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 01:47 PM Kenoy with the strip. Lions ball!
Timone 11-18-2007, 02:25 PM ZZZzzzzzZZZzZzz
b-diddy 11-18-2007, 02:43 PM glad to see cj hasnt touched the ball yet.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 02:53 PM They shoud review that one. He fumbled for the 1st down.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 02:56 PM Fucking special teams. You just score then give them the ball on our side of the field
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:00 PM There we go, big TO to save the Special teams disaster
Timone 11-18-2007, 03:03 PM There went Roy's helmet. Again.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:06 PM 3rd and 5 is where we needed to get that done. We need to make that play with our recievers.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:08 PM Woulda been nice if 'doo wap, diddy diddy diddy, doo wap' could have made that FG
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:12 PM Thats fucking stupid mistake by our DLine to GIVE them the first. We dont make ours and the we GIVE them theirs...3rd and 5
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:16 PM 6pt swing right there.
3rd and 5, we get 4, 4th and 1, illegal procedure on us, fg missed, they have 3rd and 4, penalty on us, give them the first they make a fg.
Timone 11-18-2007, 03:22 PM Are they pissed now, Tahoe?
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:32 PM They lit a fire up under their ass
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:33 PM For fuck sake, 2 passes in a row that could have been 7
Timone 11-18-2007, 03:33 PM Manningham'ed it.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:33 PM This is the first time I've been pissed at a game in a long time
Timone 11-18-2007, 03:34 PM Like I said yesterday: anger management classes work wonders.
bipolarmedstoo
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:38 PM A win wouldn't hurt. Pistons, UofM, Lions last week all went down, Pistons, UofM and Lions might go down again. Pistons will win tonight though.
Timone 11-18-2007, 03:41 PM Of course a win wouldn't hurt. A loss wouldn't either though.
...as much. :emo kid:
Timone 11-18-2007, 03:46 PM You better get out of bounds...
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:46 PM Our YACs have pretty much sucked for a couple of weeks now.
Timone 11-18-2007, 03:47 PM Throw to Calvin, good things happen.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:47 PM This game is over. We've got it now.
b-diddy 11-18-2007, 03:51 PM i dont know if im more upset that i dont get to watch the lions or that the lions insist on ignoring cj at all costs. this shouldnt be so hard...
Timone 11-18-2007, 03:51 PM Crazy to see the fans waving towels around like it's a playoff game.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:52 PM Blackout diddy? Where do you live?
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:53 PM This should be a piece of cake.
Timone 11-18-2007, 03:54 PM sack coming up.
Timone 11-18-2007, 03:55 PM That was a Lions-esque personal foul there.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:56 PM I go over the middle there or on this play with the 2 minute warning. The middle looks open
Timone 11-18-2007, 03:56 PM What the fuck? You realize that wasn't 4th and long right?
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:57 PM Why we went for it all to a 5'6" WR
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:57 PM We had the ENTIRE 2 minutes to drive 50 yards and chew up the clock. Why even go for it there?
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 03:58 PM The Detroit 'not ready for prime time' Lions
Timone 11-18-2007, 03:58 PM Geeeeeeez.
Timone 11-18-2007, 04:00 PM Guarantee you the Giants get the first down here.
Timone 11-18-2007, 04:01 PM what the fuck are you throwing for?
Timone 11-18-2007, 04:02 PM That was seriously even dumber than the Lions airing it out on 2nd down.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 04:03 PM LOL @ our O Line
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 04:05 PM a;ljkfa;lkdfsja;lskdfja;lskdfja;lskdfja;lskdfj;alk sdfj
Timone 11-18-2007, 04:05 PM we saw enough of this with Manningham yesterday, wtf!
Timone 11-18-2007, 04:05 PM unbelievable, what a chode.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 04:05 PM Maybe the Giants will throw it again. lol
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 04:06 PM We have to give the ball or attempt to give the ball to Williams and CJ more than McDonald and that doesn't seem like thats happening
Timone 11-18-2007, 04:06 PM They've got 2 losses to spare.
Timone 11-18-2007, 04:07 PM lol @ the Saints.
rofl @ the Ravens. God damnit.
b-diddy 11-18-2007, 04:10 PM this team is a bunch of fucking losers. especially mike martz.
Timone 11-18-2007, 04:10 PM I feel marvelous though!
Timone 11-18-2007, 04:12 PM I don't wanna watch the Redskins-Cowboys, damnit.
Timone 11-18-2007, 04:16 PM Seriously, no team is more boring than the Redskins IMO.
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-18-2007, 04:33 PM Greedy Play Calling...c'mon Martz...
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-18-2007, 04:34 PM McDonald has obviously become Kitnas new favorite target...I'm not sure how excited I am about that...
Zekyl 11-18-2007, 11:04 PM I think we drafted him out of Oregon
We never drafted Droughns. He was a free agent we picked up that didn't stick around for more than a season, I think.
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 11:21 PM per wiki...I'm right, for a change
He was drafted (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFL_draft) by the Detroit Lions (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detroit_Lions) out of the University of Oregon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Oregon) in the third round (81st pick overall) of the 2000 NFL Draft (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2000_NFL_Draft). Droughns spent the season on injured reserve (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Injured_reserve) after separating his right shoulder on his first carry in Detroit's opening preseason game vs. New England (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_England_Patriots) (8/4). He was placed on injured reserve Aug. 22.
Next year played in nine games and started three for the Lions, rushing for 72 yards on 30 carries (2.4) and catching four passes for 21 yards (5.3) and a touchdown (vs. Tampa Bay (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tampa_Bay_Bucs), 11/11/01). He was waived by Detroit after Week 1 (9/12) and was signed to Miami (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miami_Dolphins)'s practice squad (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Practice_squad) Sept. 18 before being re-signed by the Lions Oct. 9.
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-18-2007, 11:25 PM Who cares, if Droughns was to have stayed a Lion, he would've ended up like Shawn Bryson or Olandis Gary, and faded into obscurity before his career could even leave the ground...
I would've rather have kept Jeff Hartings and Mike Compton than Reuben Droughns...
Zekyl 11-18-2007, 11:31 PM My apologies, I was thinking of the guy we signed, then we cut him and he ended up with the Colts. Anyone remember who I'm talking about?
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 11:33 PM Yes I do and I can't think of his name. Hate that
Tahoe 11-18-2007, 11:37 PM Mungo?
DrRay11 11-19-2007, 09:42 AM James Mungro.
Zekyl 11-19-2007, 11:51 AM YES. That's who I was thinking of.
Timone 11-19-2007, 11:59 AM Isn't he a Colt?
Nvm, FA, was a Colt.
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-19-2007, 01:43 PM My apologies, I was thinking of the guy we signed, then we cut him and he ended up with the Colts. Anyone remember who I'm talking about?
James Mungro?
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-19-2007, 01:44 PM Remember when we drafted that Luke Staley kid who was a beast RB out of BYU, but he tore his ACL at BYU, and never played a snap...what a waste of a pick...
Zekyl 11-19-2007, 01:46 PM HUGE waste of a pick. If he'd ever gotten healthy he could have been a decent 3rd down back for us. He had a ton of talent before he got hurt in college.
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-19-2007, 01:50 PM This years 4th Rd Pick, who we used on AJ Davis, was a waste too...he's not even on the practice squad..
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-19-2007, 01:53 PM So what do you guys all think about the rest of the way??
Packers- L (6-5)
@ Vikings- W (7-5)
Cowboys- L (7-6)
@ Chargers- L (7-7)
Chiefs- W (8-7)
@ Packers- (could go either way, by this time, GB should have the division and bye week all but wrapped up, they could use the "rest our players" card, but on the same note, they could also play spoiler...)
The Redskins have it brutal the rest of the way, just like we do.
The games @ Minnesota and home Vs. KC are MUST wins
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-19-2007, 01:54 PM You could argue the San Diego game too, but they seem to have played well this year, opposed to on the road when they've been terrible...
Zekyl 11-19-2007, 02:31 PM This years 4th Rd Pick, who we used on AJ Davis, was a waste too...he's not even on the practice squad..
Most of our late round picks are garbage. Millen needs to bring in a draft guru to help him, immediately. Bring him on as a draft advisor or something, just somehow improve your drafting staff. They're miserable.
Zekyl 11-19-2007, 02:33 PM I'm in agreement with Wil on the rest of the schedule. 8-8 sounds about right, unless the Packers rest everyone up, then we get 9-7 and our first winning record in a long time!
Timone 11-19-2007, 03:05 PM Packers L
@ Vikings- W (honestly wouldn't be surprised if they lost this)
Cowboys- L
@ Chargers- L
Chiefs- W
@ Packers L
Timone 11-19-2007, 06:47 PM lol @ Kitna vs. Strahan.
"u suck"
"no u do"
