View Full Version : The Boston Celtics
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-14-2007, 09:55 PM dude, I just hate the Celtics, I'd like to see the Pistons get out of the East, b/c I think they are the most complete team (top to bottom) in the conference, but if the Pistons were to underachieve again and self-destruct in the playoffs, I just pray to the Lord God Almighty that the Boston Celtics do NOT get to the Finals...
I hate Danny Ainge, I hate Doc Rivers, I hate how everybody considers Ray Allen a super star when he was past his prime 5 years ago, I hate how they have a weak ass bench, and I'm already sick and fucking tired of all the god damn writers, analysts, and "experts" deeming them the greatest NBA team of all time
Fuck the Celtics!
that is all...Go Pistons!
Timone 11-14-2007, 09:57 PM God damn the Celtics are destroying teams...
...running up the score? Do we have another spygate?
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-14-2007, 10:09 PM God damn the Celtics are destroying teams...
...running up the score? Do we have another spygate?
I'm just waiting for that inevitable Ray Allen back or foot injury that causes him to miss 40 games a year...
Cross 11-15-2007, 05:37 AM Ray Allen is the shit and he isnt even asking to be the #1 option. KG is obviously the best player on the team but his unselfishness makes him look like a #2 or 3. all 3 of them average over 20 and are playing fucking great defense. Theyre 7-0? All of them were fucking blowouts despite the fact that they had no competition. I bet you the pistons couldn't blow out the teams like the Celtics did but yet we can still beat them imo.
If we lose in the 2nd round, i do not want Boston to win, which basically contradicted my whole arguement uptop.
WTFchris 11-15-2007, 01:14 PM I like Allen better than PP. What has Allen done to make you hate him? PP is a whiner.
Timone 11-15-2007, 01:16 PM I like all 3. KG's my favorite player period, Pierce is up there, and I like Ray because of how he carries himself. Except for being upset when KG was swearing, that was kinda pussy.
Hermy 11-15-2007, 01:17 PM You all must hate the celtics more than you hate child molestation.
Timone 11-15-2007, 01:20 PM Nope, but I hate the Cavs more.
Glenn 11-15-2007, 01:20 PM When it comes to sports, I love hate.
WTFchris 11-15-2007, 01:21 PM I've never liked PP. I think it's his aditude, not his game. He whines and makes expressions like Sheed does. And people really don't like sheed unless he's on your team for the most part.
Timone 11-15-2007, 01:25 PM I've never really known Pierce to have attitude problems. The only thing I could've been pissed at him for was when he called out Tayshaun as being overrated and saying he (Tay) couldn't defend him (Paul). But Paul abused Tayshaun that game, so I can't really be mad.
Glenn 11-15-2007, 01:34 PM And maybe during the playoffs a few years ago when he ripped his jersey off while still on the floor after getting 2 techs with the game on the line.
<Not a PP fan
Timone 11-15-2007, 01:38 PM Well, that was against the Pacers.
Timone 11-15-2007, 01:47 PM So, when do you guys think they're going to finally lose? Wait, why are we still talking about the Celtics when this thread is about the Pistons?
Timone 11-15-2007, 02:07 PM About time these assholes got their own thread!
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-15-2007, 02:09 PM Believe it or not, I'd rather the Cavs go to The Finals again rater than the Celtics, basically because I know the Cavs are inferior.
Timone 11-15-2007, 02:10 PM That's a tough one for me. I hate the Celtics, yet I hate LeBron.
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-15-2007, 02:10 PM So, when do you guys think they're going to finally lose? Wait, why are we still talking about the Celtics when this thread is about the Pistons?
They haven't played anybody yet, they're toughest opponent was Denver, they haven't played Detroit, Cleveland, Orlando, Dallas, San Antonio, Utah, Houston, Phoenix, New Orleans yet...
the Atlantic division is shitty, I expect them to win that thing...yet ESPN views it as a surprise...
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-15-2007, 02:12 PM That's a tough one for me. I hate the Celtics, yet I hate LeBron.
Oh don't get me wrong. I have pure hatred for both...but when you start getting into upper management...Danny Ainge is getting ultimate praise right now for getting rid of all of his young talent to win now...
he will pay dearly for this in the long run...and it will be even more hilarious when that end does come, the Celtics don't have a ring...
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-15-2007, 02:13 PM With the cavs, it's a foregone conclusion, LeBron will leave after his contract expires in '10...
does he haven an ETO?
Timone 11-15-2007, 02:16 PM Well, I'd hate to see the Celtics go to the Finals because of history alone and I'd hate to see the Cavs go because to me they're the most boring team in the league and I hate LeBron, but if I had to pick a team that wasn't the Pistons I have no clue who I'd like to see represent the East...certainly not Chicago.
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-15-2007, 02:17 PM Well, I'd hate to see the Celtics go to the Finals because of history alone and I'd hate to see the Cavs go because to me they're the most boring team in the league and I hate LeBron, but if I had to pick a team that wasn't the Pistons I have no clue who I'd like to see represent the East...certainly not Chicago.
the Magic...I like Dwight Howard...
Timone 11-15-2007, 02:20 PM I just can't stand any team that gets hyped so much by ESPN and the media. As a person I'm someone who doesn't like attention at all, so I guess that's part of my reasoning.
RegicideGreg 11-15-2007, 02:21 PM I'd love to see Toronto out of the east! I love Bosh and they aren't pluged at all by the media
Timone 11-15-2007, 02:23 PM go 76ers.
CindyKate 11-15-2007, 03:26 PM dX-N-1j9na8
Glenn 11-15-2007, 03:58 PM I'm not sure what that video has to do with the Celtics, maybe I missed something.
So here's this.
kDrqNQwIdRc
Timone 11-15-2007, 04:10 PM Like I said, Marbury: great guy.
Glenn 11-15-2007, 04:28 PM If the Knicks buy Marbury out, I'm sure the Celtics would be there waiting.
Zekyl 11-15-2007, 05:42 PM I always thought that commercial was hilarious personally. Also, I'd be down with the Raptors if the Pistons didn't make it all the way. Like RG said, they don't get hyped, they play team ball (its all that euro they have in them), and I really like Bosh.
MoTown 11-15-2007, 05:57 PM Just wanted to let you Celtics fans know that on ESPN.com, they have a comparison to the '96 Bulls that they'll be doing all season long. Because apparently the Celtics are the best team of all time.
Don't believe me?
Here ya go:
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/features/best
Zekyl 11-15-2007, 06:12 PM You have got to be kidding me. That's freaking ludacris.
WTFchris 11-15-2007, 06:59 PM I bet this talk goes on for a while too. The schedule is pretty soft until the middle of December
Atticus771 11-15-2007, 11:06 PM I'm going to the game at the Palace on January 4th or 5th, whichever it is, and I seriously hope we pound them into oblivion. Not just by 20 or 30, but 40. I want to see Doc Rivers cry.
Zekyl 11-15-2007, 11:24 PM I want Doc Rivers to cry as Danny Ainge screams and beats him with a shoe.
RegicideGreg 11-15-2007, 11:30 PM That is a ridiculously easy schedule to open
Glenn 11-16-2007, 01:08 AM I want Doc Rivers to cry as Danny Ainge screams and beats him with a shoe.
lol
You're on fire, Zekyl
Cross 11-16-2007, 07:02 AM It'd be possible for the celts to go through 22-1 after december 15th
I hate the Celtics. I hate everything to do with Boston sports teams and their pretentious fans.
That said, I really want Boston to continue to be overhyped and win 60 games. I think the Pistons can take them in 7 games, but since they love to play the disrespect card and need a challenge to pump them up; let it be the overblown superiority of maybe the worlds greatest basketball team ever, second only to the 97 Bulls.
Timone 11-16-2007, 07:39 AM A Pistons-Celtics ECF would definitely be a great series either way.
Zekyl 11-17-2007, 10:45 AM A Pistons-Celtics ECF would definitely be a great series either way.
Great for me to poop on.
Zach Miner would wipe the floor with KG, Ray and Pierce!
:howdidwegetminer:
Timone 11-17-2007, 03:50 PM Agreed.
Call me crazy but I think the Pats have a better chance to go undefeated than the Celtics do.
Michigan too.
Glenn 11-18-2007, 06:02 AM Agreed.
Call me crazy but I think the Pats have a better chance to go undefeated than the Celtics do.
Michigan too.
That sounded very Larry King-ish.
Timone 11-19-2007, 06:53 AM Magic 104, Celtics 102.
Cross 11-19-2007, 08:35 AM Magic are playing incredibly well but they just don't know how to beat us so sall goood
MoTown 11-19-2007, 10:00 AM Jordan's '96 Bulls wouldn't have lost to the Orlando Magic.
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-19-2007, 02:01 PM Agreed.
Call me crazy but I think the Pats have a better chance to go undefeated than the Celtics do.
Michigan too.
That's a ballsy prediction...
Wilfredo Ledezma 11-19-2007, 02:02 PM Jordan's '96 Bulls wouldn't have lost to the Orlando Magic.
If Darko was still on the Magic, I wouldn't count out that possibility...
geerussell 11-19-2007, 03:45 PM Jordan's '96 Bulls wouldn't have lost to the Orlando Magic.
Just as Boston fell first in Orlando, so did the Bulls midway through the first month of their incredible ride to their fourth NBA title.
Twelve years and five days ago, the Bulls took their 5-0 record into the Magic Kingdom and came out 5-1.
Glenn 11-19-2007, 03:46 PM pwned (as the kids say)
Timone 11-19-2007, 03:50 PM Magic in '96 - Shaq, Penny
Magic in '07 - Dwight, Jameer Nelson
:dismissed:
MoTown 11-19-2007, 04:51 PM Damnit gee. I knew I should have looked at the "Celtics Best team ever Tracker."
I guess that proves that this team is going to be the best team to ever walk the Earth.
